Liked: The location is great (just inside the magestic old city) and staff was absolutely brilliant. He was really friendly and helped me with everything. The room was clean enough to have a presant stay:)

Liked: Awesome location. Morning staff is suuuuper (Ivona is mega helpful and total radness). Its a small hostel--20-some beds maybe--so its a really nice chill laid-back vibe. I really liked it

Disliked: Pricey. (But if you want to be in old town, you have to pay that.)

Liked: We loved fresh sheets hostel! The location is amazing; right at the top of the old town and it was a nice, clean hostel. Fresh sheets has a really chilled out vibe and it was easy to talk to other people. The staff were really friendly and put on films and so on at night and the owners were nice enough not to charge us when we couldn't make another booking on our way out of Croatia. I would definitely recommend staying here and I can't wait to get back.

Liked: Loved the staff, really lovely place to stay but do be warned there are alot of steps involved. Lovely and bright place, alot of other places in Croatia were dark.

Disliked: Alot of money, and if you don't get up at eight you won't get any breakfast!

Liked: I thought this hostel was expensive when I booked it, but you get what you pay for.It is genuinely a nice place to stay. Clean, great staff, breakfast, towel, nice big comfortable beds and a great location. Would recommend.

Liked: The stuff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast is included and it is not one of those small breakfast with just one oast, but you can eat untill you are so full that you have to go to sleep again! Great place!

Disliked: Well, frankly it was quite hard to find it, but that's the problem of the city, not of the hostel. Maybe better explanations in the internet would be better. The trick is looking for the yellow lamp.

Liked: Been here before. I think this is the best place to stay in Dubrovnik, I just love the location! Also atmosphere and rooms are fine. Very tidy and some good music too.

Disliked: Bring your own lock with if you want to have your bags safe in the dorm closet.

Liked: Great location in the middle of Old Town. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathroom were very clean. Everything we could have wanted.

Liked: Fresh sheets was fabulous, I couldnt fault it - it was everything I wanted! great location, fabulous staff (who were so helpful and gave the warmest welcome) but the location really stole the show.

Disliked: Seriously guys, the showers... I was there 5 days and I didnt have a warm shower once!! But the hostel clearly explains that this is a common problem especially for the old town of Dubrovnik and frankly I say, just get in the lovely sea instead!!! (Its a minor minor fault)

Liked: Only hostel in the old town; the beds are comfortable; clean;excellent breakfast.

Liked: The owner, John, and the employees were incredibly helpful and friendly. It was great to sit around during happy hour and have a drink with them, learning about the city and the people in it. Free breakfast was an added plus as well, and the location is unbeatable.

Disliked: It was a bit expensive, but considering the location and breakfast, worth it.

Liked: The hostel is a 5 minute walk from the main street and inside the city walls,its ideal for backpackers who are passing through for a few days. The facilities are good with everything the modern traveller expects.

Disliked: Everything was good to excellent.

Disliked: Getting kicked out of the common room earlier than the 11pm cutoff, the fact that the price is a lot more than other hostels in other places in Croatia

Liked: The hostel itself was great - the staff were nice, the common facilities were good (if small) and everyone was very friendly. I would recommend the hostel itself without hesitation. However, I would not recommend the homestay option - if the hostel itself was full, I would suggest staying somewhere else.

Liked: I met some great people here! It's up on the cliffs so quite a bit of a trek, good exercise though. Free internet!

Disliked: The shower had some strange mat on the floor blocking the drain. Really weird as it was blocking all the water. Oh, no hot water on our floor. Croatian hostels are definitely not developed yet. The bar they promote is a complete rip off so don't bother. Save your money and just go to a pub.

Liked: It was cosy, right in the heart of the old city and I must say the hostesses Alex and Tina were the friendliest, welcoming and most helpful Ive encountered in Europe, they even cooked us french toasts and pancakes for brekkie (which I missed out on cause I was too hungover to get out of bed!!). I had the best time, met fantastic people.. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone going to Dubrovnik!! =D

Liked: Perfect in every way. Tina and Alex are a traveller's dream - professional, friendly, intelligent and give great advice. After 5 months of travel, I would rate the staff here the best of everywhere I have been - they genuinely care that guests are enjoying themselves. Immaculately clean, fantastic breakfasts, great location inside old city, fast internet (wifi and PC's), free towels, comfy beds with individual lights - cannot fault this place. Thank you for a great stay, I will definitely come back!

Liked: It was a small property meaning it was intimate between travellers and the staff were very personable. The staff were friendly and fantastic, going out of their way to talk to and help everyone. Breakfast included the basics of toast, cereal and hot drinks, but we also got fresh fruit salad and I think they have similar treats every day! Great location in the old town - and if you follow the directions they've put on the website you'll have no trouble navigating your way there! Cosy common area, perfect for relaxing with or without a drink and talking to others there.

Disliked: The only 'bad' thing was that i had booked for the added benefit of the kitchen, but its very small and crammed into the reception/common area, and I didnt feel particularly keen cooking a meal in front of everyone during happy hour.

Liked: We were greeted by very friendly staff and taken to a family owned property nearby. Our room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was shared. Most of the hostel accomodation in Dubrovnik is run by families, so don't get suprised if you aren't staying in the property specified when you book.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: My friends and I stayed in two apartments that Fresh* runs -- the apartments were literally around the corner from the hostel, which was nice. Although the apartments didn't have internet, we felt free to come to Fresh* to use their desktops or wireless. The hostel also had an overstocked fridge which was freely accessible to us. Also, the girl who worked at the desk was awesome--too bad I didn't catch her name. She was very chill and obviously loved working there. She gave us many suggestions for restaurants and places to go, and could always be found in or around the hostel if we had follow-up questions. Her English was perfect so we didn't feel there was any language barrier at the hostel.As far as the apartments, we basically were given a room in a 2-story apartment that had 3 bedrooms. My friends and I took up 2 of the 3 bedrooms and the 3rd single bedroom was empty until a girl moved in. Since we took us most of the bedrooms, we felt it was nearly as good as having our own place. The bathroom was clean and very large but shared (which wasn't so bad, since it was mostly my group using it). The downstairs had a cramped living room that Fresh* used to store luggage, and a kitchen. Both spaces didn't really seem usable so we really just skipped right through to our bedrooms and would hang out at the hostel if we wanted a place to hang out.

Disliked: I only wished the apartments had wireless, but since the hostel was only steps away, it wasn't so bad. The price was a bit hefty as compared with other hostels and apartments we stayed at, but may be worth it to stay within the city walls of Dubrovnik.
