Liked: Ivo Guesthouse is located in a beautiful place, with a great view of the islands, easly connected to the center (old town) by the local bus.Zelika was realy nice and helpful, even before we arrived! She was available to meet us at the main bus station and drive us to the house. During our stay, she always maked us feel like home! We would recomend Ivo Guesthouse to those who want to come to Dubrovnik and stay close to the local way of living and nice people.

Liked: This was a great place to stay. Zelica provided us with everything we could possibly need. From washing up to giving us a brief history of coratia and flawless guide to the area. Excellent facilities, immaculate, stuuning sea view. Great Value! Try her mums coffee its delicious.

Liked: The views from the mid and top floors onto the port and nearby beach were amazing as was the space out in the terrace where you could have breakfast and drinks with the hosts. Very clean and hostess was very friendly and always on hand.

Liked: The host, Zeljka, is the friendliest person you could hope to meet, and she made our stay an aboslute joy. She really went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves, and she seemed to enjoy our exclamations of excitement at the amazing view, despite the fact that she must hear it all the time. Absolutely recommended, it was wonderful.

Liked: My hostess Zeljka was so nice and more than a hostess, we came as friends. She was so helpful and showed me sights of Dubrovnik, answered my questions and told lot of Dubrovnik and Croatia. Her parents took care me too and I feld myself very cosy. The place was calm and even it was little bit far from the centre, it suits perfect for me.

Liked: Everything was perfect, the host family was really kind and full of hospitality.I would say,here was the best hostel I've ever stayed.If you come to Dubrovnik, just stay here,you will have a great time:)

Liked: This is an apartment so not a 'hostel', fantastic location looking over the port.I got met at the bus station, offered coffee & information on arrival and offered a lift to the airport to catch a 6.30am flight.Each room has it's own lockable door & it was clean.Fantastic - I would stay here again.

Liked: Our only complaint is the directions: take the 3 bus to Pile (the main gate to the city) and then STAY ON THE BUS as it goes back to Nuncijata (the bus will stop at Nuncijata and evryone will get off), then walk back the way the bus came about 100 meters to the sign Rooms/ Zimmer. The guesthouse is on the main highway, D-8, NOT ON Majkovaska, though its address is Majkovaska 11. Views are amazing. No internet, but there is a nice kitchen.

Liked: the person who take care of the hostel is really friendly and helpfull!!there was welcome drinks and goodbye drinks and cookies!you feel like home. a little bit far from city center but there was bus and walking was ok!

Liked: The view from the window was great. Host was friendly and helpful. She emailed me immediately after I made my reservation and also picked me up from Bus Station. On the down side, air conditioner wasn't working during my stay though it was mentioned among the amenities. Towels provided were of poor quality and bathroom was not so good.

Liked: Such a friendly owner, great view of the harbour, air conditioning, coffee, juice and biscuits on arrival, free drop off to the ferry. Absolutely loved the place and will definately stay here again when in Dubrovnik!!

Liked: The owner Zeljeka is very kind and helpful, it's the first good point of the hostel, you feel in a real croatian home. Of course it's not so good located but there is a bus at the door of the hostel that gets you to the port in 5 mn and the Old Town in 20 mn.

Liked: Jeljska, the woman who runs the guesthouse, is incredibly welcoming and helpful, simply a lovely person. The hostel is a bit out of the way, but if you know from the outset that a bus outside the guesthouse will take you right to the centre then it's no problem at all. A pick-up can be arranged too, and a drop-off! The place has it's own living room with tv, kitchen, and beautiful view of the bay.
