Liked: Very close to the gates of the old city and to the old city bus stop... less than 5 minutes walk from either. The hostel itself is nothing fancy, pretty standard, but what is nice about this place is the super friendly, knowledgeable, and laid back manager, Marco. I felt very welcome there.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: it's close to the old time, but you don't have to struggle up and down the stairs like if you stay in the old town. Very close to bus stop. Staff is very friendly

Liked: Great location just outside the old city walls and great friendly staff who can give great reccomendations on how to fill your day, places to eat etc. they are more like your mates than hostel owners oh and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean

Liked: The owners & staff are amazingly friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Hostel is spread over a few buildings and doesn't seem to have any big common area where people hang out, so as a solo traveler it was tough to meet people outside of my dorm room.

Liked: Great location, very friendly accommodating staff who were jovial and nothing was a problem, our flight wasn't until 4.45pm and they allowed us use of a room with wi fi as the day we left it was raining and Dubrovnik isn't much fun in the rain which was greatly appreciated.

Disliked: We booked an apartment and the room we had was great (bit dated but clean) but the bathroom was the smallest we had experienced which as a woman I found cramped but it didnt worry my husband. The tv didnt work and we advised staff but they forgot to fix but did our washing complimentary.

Liked: I liked the location as it was close to the Old Town. The owners are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and inviting.

Disliked: There was not anything that I disliked about the property.

Liked: Accommodation was great - exactly what we wanted, and the location was perfect. However, the highlight was Marko, the owner, who was wonderful - kind, helpful, friendly ... he and his small team work incredibly hard, and genuinely want to enable you to have the best stay possible. Highly recommended.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The location of this property was perfect.. so close to everything! Marco was a perfect host for newcomers to Dubrovnik!

Disliked: Not much to dislike... a bit loud during the night..

Liked: Oh my goodness! I cant say enough great things about Hostel Marker Dubrovnik! It was so convientient. Facilities are wonderfull, spacious, clean and secure and Marco is so helpful and kind! I would give more stars if possible.

Liked: No nonsense hostel with a decent room. If you're looking for somewhere to stay with a good bed and private bathroom then I'd recommend it. It's fairly well maintained but not spectacular or maintained to a very high standard, but it's functional and great location.

Disliked: A few things in the room didnt work or were broken, like lamps and the handle on the door kept coming off.

Liked: Very near to a beach and the old city within 3 minutes walking distance. The staffs are all very welcoming and helpful. They love the city itself very much and recommend good food and restaurant for travellers to stay.

Disliked: If there is air conditioning might be better. but fans was provided. I guess not all rooms are without them.

Liked: Really friendly staff, arrived late in the evening and were very accomodating. Stayed in a lovely apartment-great location, very clean with excellent facilities, I would very much reccomend for a break in Dubrovnik.

Liked: Marco and his team were so friendly and helpful, they made it possible for us to get the best from Dubrovnik in just 2 days. The room was functional and exactly what we expected.

Disliked: Lumpy pillows!

Liked: I rented a private apartment near Pile Gate in Dubrovnik. It was at last minute because my reservation with another company was canceled, but it was for the best since this apartment was amazing. Everything was new: windows, air conditioning, bathroom and appliances. Everything was clean and new. This apartment was just behind the Hilton Imperial in Dubrovnik so in 5 minutes walking you are inside old town. All the good stuff about the old town except the noise when you sleep since the apartment is just outside in a quiet alley. The apartment is just beside the family house and they will greet you very kindly they even gave us some local brandy to experience local specialties. The staff was more than helpful when you'll meet the owner you'll know what I'm talking about. I highly recommend that place.

Disliked: Those looking for a large apartment may find it a bit small but I was there as a couple and it was a perfect fit.

Liked: Property is close to swimming beaches, seakayaking and old town Dubrovnik. Good location for restaurants, activities. Marko was enthusiactilly helpful and knowledgable.

Disliked: No negative feedback.

Liked: The location , the air conditioning and it was quiet.

Disliked: Room wasn't clean when we arrived. Shower unit needed a good scrub. Shower unit leaked every time someone used it. Only one lightbulb working out of eight. No TV areal to watch the telly

Liked: The location is excellent, right by the gates of the old city, whereas most accommodation in the same price range is at a considerable distance. The staff were extremely friendly, all spoke fluent English (much better than our Croatian) and would do anything to help.

Disliked: The room was clean and comfortable, but the wiring and plumbing caused some problems. The hot water tended to run out quite quickly.
