Liked: Had really clean and orderly toilet facilities.

Disliked: The kitchen was out of order, and no compensation was offered. The hostel is really apathetic, depressing and uninviting, and the location on a hill is really annoying. The breakfast is a waste of time.

Liked: This is the only one hostel in Dubrovnik. Nice is that it is close to the old city, and provide breakfast with cheap price.

Disliked: as you know it is the youth hostel, so it looks like a youth hostel. You know what I am talking about.

Liked: Good location between the port and the old town with several bars nearby. Kept very clean.

Disliked: No common room area makes it difficult to meet other people staying in the hostel. It got very hot without air conditioning.

Liked: Staff super and it was clean free brekky OK

Disliked: No lockers, lack of internet stuff and no chair to sit ont the only one computer..his was a bit mingy

Liked: break fast was richer than ordinary.

Disliked: There was no clear explanation abou the location of the hostel on the email I got. It told me which bus I should take but didnt tell me where to get off.

Liked: That it was one of the cheaper ones I could find

Disliked: There was no atmosphere what so ever, it actually felt like being in a hospital. The kitchen wasn't working when I was there. I had to wait about 40 minutes to check in as all the staff were in a meeting and there was no one available.

Liked: There is a nice outdoor communal area

Disliked: The hostel feels very clinical and boring and has no atmosphere

Liked: staff very nice, small dorms, basic breakfast included, fairly cheap for Dubrovnik

Disliked: decor rather old (but kept clean), a little far from the old city (but a nice walk!)

Liked: Clean, good rooms, excellent bathroom facilities, a varied inclusive breakfast. Staff helpful. Low price but excellent hostel.

Disliked: It's a 20-25 minute walk from the old town. Not a massive problem though. For the price it is a agreat hostel.

Liked: ..

Disliked: No internet (apart from 1 slow computer for everyone to use in the hostel), no towels (even to hire) and no lockers, the receptionist cannot multitask and you must wait and wait. One key for the room so that creates problems if a roommate leaves with it, or showers etc.

Liked: Was clean and close to old town and good swimming locations. Safe and

Disliked: Was a bit too sterile, man behind counter was not overly happy. Could do with a better communal area with couches to encourage a better vibe around the hostel and easy environement in which to meet other back packers. Could have more brouchers available on the tours that are availbale to do in Dubrovnik.

Liked: It is very clean. The rooms are warm. Breakfast is very good.

Disliked: Internet is free but the computer is only open during reception time hence very inconvenient. During winter, reception is only open for certain hours hence you must time your arrival. The hostel is also at the top of a slope and long flight of staircase. Not suitable for traveller with huge or heavy luggage. It is about 10-15min walk from the grad but not too bad if no heavy luggage. It is about 20min walk from the ferry port. But there are also buses that pass by near the hostels.

Liked: Good value for money - Dubrovnik is expensive! Very basic facilities, had breakfast available between 8-9, and it was rationed. Pretty typical of an HI hostel in my experience

Disliked: It would be nice if there was a common area to meet other travellers. No complaints though. No internet, but you dont need it - there are a couple of free Wifi signals in the Old City, and one you can pick up from the outside eating area.

Liked: There were many showers, you didn't have to wait.

Disliked: While it's called a 'youth' hostel, it's actually a place were people from around 40/complete families are staying. Very small rooms.
