Liked: Really thoughtfully set up with a fridge[fantastic] and nice touches like disposeable plates and cutlery for use if needed. Staff really helpful and very friendly. The washing machine is operated by mum and no one else but she did a fantastic job on our washing so no complaints. Overall a really good place to stay and enjoy the town. Close to easy bus routes and a short walk from the restaurant strip. Parking is about a 1 minute walk and convenient.

Disliked: Typically a bit of a challenge to find. Can't drive into the street so best bet is GPS MOSTARSKA 1F and that will put you pretty much at the top of Velebitska [which our GPS didn't put in the correct place anyway.] Steve the manager tries to text anyone who is driving and give them directions but just in case, try our suggestion if all esle fails.

Liked: The property was excellent. Very clean and tidy. Large LCD flat screen was good as you were able to access the weather forecast etc. The room had a frige and a kettle with tea, cups, cutlery and didposable plates were in the room if people were available.Most of all the people who ran the place were great. Stjepo picked me up from the bus station. He was informative and genuinely friendly providing advice on the locality, beaches , shopping and transport. Bus into the Old Town took a bout 10 to 15 minutes from the bus stop down the hill in Lapad. There was a bus stop very near to the property as well but I chose to walk down the hill. I have no critiscism at all and would give the place a 5 star rating. For some people the difficulty may be getting up the hill. as it was a steep but short climb up to the property.About 10 to 15 minutes walking. I at times chose to take the bus up from Lapad. But if your carrying Rucksacks everywhere then you should be fit enough to do the walk and the views were fantastic from the property area on the hill. Great place. Nice people Stjepo and his mother who maintained the property

Liked: The room and the bathroom were spacious and well furnished.

Disliked: Uphill walk or climbing of steps to reach the facility by foot.

Disliked: A bit of a walk to main locations - must take the bus to old town or walk many, many steps to the beach and promenade.

Liked: The owner was lovely and even picked us up from the train station. More like an appartment than a hostel, complete with own kitchen, bathroom, balcony and air conditioner. Very modern and new.

Liked: Stevie the owner was very helpful, booking us bus tickets and picking us up from the bus station, couldn't do enough to help

Disliked: no big bath towels, but not even sure they do them in this country as other places had small towels also.

Liked: Guesthouse owner was super helpful and friendly, gave us a very thorough orientation of the city. Location was excellent, room was spacious and clean. Great air conditioning.

Disliked: Shower curtain was short, so water would get all over the floor.

Liked: It was really clean and spacious. Good kitchen facilities. The owner picked us up from the bus station and gave us a life back too which was really helpful. Pretty good location overall.

Disliked: Its a bit of a hike up the hill from Lapad but otherwise really good. The number 6 bus takes you to Old Town and is really good but can get really sweaty and crowded.

Liked: Felt very comfortable, all ameneties including a large supermarket and value for money restaurant nearby. Pick up and drop off service was amazing! The guy even went to the bus station for us to buy our onward tickets to Mostar. The room was nice and clean.

Disliked: Not many travellers to talk to, but it's a guesthouse after all :)

Liked: room was clean and spacious, view was amazing, had own bathroom and kitchen facilities, staff was very helpful and friendly, airport pickup/drop off was convenient and affordable (even took us to the bus station free of charge)

Disliked: lights in stairways/hallways didn't turn on with motion sensors - when you come home at night the stairwell is pitch black and you have to stumble carefully up to your room. room wasn't cleaned daily - which is fine, but we kept running out of toilet paper. toilet didn't flush very well, and there wasn't a shower curtain around the bathtub so you couldn't have a proper shower.

Disliked: Location was a bit far, however there is a frequent bus service.

Liked: Its nice and clean and relatively new and the kitchenette is really good. The owner is really nice and helpful and its not too far to walk to Lapad, supermarket etc.

Disliked: The shower is a European hand held number - not much you can do about it I guess, you just have to try and not get water all over the bathroom

Liked: Spacious, modern, open and clean. Helpful staff. Good facilities nearby.

Disliked: So many steps to climb from local eateries and shopping area. Difficult in 39 degree heat.

Liked: It was amazing! We had the most wonderful time in Dubrovnik! Everyone was so nice and helpful and we got our own apartment, which was not what we were expecting, it exceeded all expectations! I truly would recommend this place to anyone, young or old! Thank you so much for an amazing stay!
