Liked: Unbelievable service from Stejpo, he had text messaged us when we left the plane to make sure we knew how to find the guesthouse. He went out of his way to ensure we were happy with everything and gave us some great advice on what to do and where to do it. He also saved us money on some tours as well. We had some washing that needed to be done and his Mother did it for us for nothing, so we left some money anyway. The personal service was great and I would recommend anyone to stay if you want to be a little bit removed from the crush of Old Town Dubrovnik. Also it's close to a nice, more secluded beach.

Liked: It was a delight to be able to flop straight on to a clean bed on arrival - collected from the bus station by "Stevie" the owner, free of charge. The property was exactly as described and Stevie told us the best time of day to do various activities - he is a gem and looked out for us (and his other guests) all the time.

Liked: The host is able to pick you up right from the airport and he provides some great recommendations and information. The guesthouse is conveniently located near a large grocery store and several shops and restaurants. The old town is just a short bus ride away. Overall, the accommodation was excellent!

Disliked: There was no shower curtain in our bathroom, so it made the floor very wet.

Liked: Can't recommend this enough. The owner of the guesthouse is a lovely man, absolutely willing to help out in anyway possible and takes great care over his guests. He even drove me to the local hospital when I fell ill and waited for me as I was attended to. The property is lovely, the twin room I shared with a friend was spacious, clean, had hobs for cooking, and a clean bathroom with decent shower. The location in Lapad is great as it's about 5-10mins to the local bus stop to take you to the Old Town, it's away from the hordes of tourists that disembark in Gruz every day and it has a fair amount of restaurants nearby, aswell as a supermarket and not too far from a beach.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Stjepo was extremely friendly and picked us up at the ferry port at 7am with a sign. It is also more like a one bedroom apartment. There was balcony that had a gorgeous view of the port and the mountains. It was located right near a bus stop which takes you on a 15 minute ride to the old city. But I liked that it was not in the old city because things are cheaper, it feels just as safe, and it is where the locals are. Its a 10 minute walk to the gorgeous water and beaches. It was also quiet and restful: a vacation from our vacation.

Disliked: Nothing. I loved it.

Liked: The host was AMAZING! We felt like family - he made sure we got the best out of the city and helped us plan the rest of our stay in Croatia. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about Dubrovnik and Croatia.

Liked: We had an extremely nice room as well as our own kitchen in the room with pots, pans, plates, and utensils. The staff was extremely friendly and drove us to the bus station at 6:30 in the morning, which was above and beyond what they needed to do.

Disliked: They did not provide breakfast.

Liked: It was self contained with a little kitchen and fridge so that we could buy and prepare food ourselves making it cheaper. The owner was wonderful and chatty, gave us lots of advice and picked us up and dropped us off at the station for free. I would suggest asking him before booking any trips because he can get the cheapest deals and best ones. He took us up the mountains so that we did not need to get the aerial car too and told us the history which we would not have got otherwise. He gave us pancakes and fresh sardines and cherries one day too! Very happy, would return.

Liked: Stjepo (the man that runs it) is so amazing and helpful. He picked us up from the station, told us all of the places to go and organised our tour without taking commission and best of all made us crepes one morning!! The actual property is lovely, very clean and easy to catch the bus into the old town. Its also very close to some amazing beaches. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!! There is a bit of a walk up a hill to get there, but there are hills everywhere in Dubrovnik, you would be lucky to find a place that wasn't up a hill!

Disliked: NOTHING, we had a great time!!!!

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, fresh and clean room, comfortable bed, good value for the money. The owner gave us a lot of good information about the town and about the country. The owner transported us (free of charge) to and from the bus station. We can definitely recommend this hotel.

Disliked: The location was in the perfect part of the city, close to the promenade and beach as well as restaurants. Only a few minutes by foot to the bus stop (to the Old Town), but the hill up to the hotel was something I wouldn't recommend for people with less than normal condition. But otherwise the location was perfect.

Liked: stayed there for two nights in the beginning of june. it's a great place close to one of the beaches. quick and frequent bus connection to the old town. the rooms are new and very clean with bathroom, kitchen and balcony. the host is very helpful and will pick you up at the autobusni kolodvor and drop you off there again. thank you for that! we would stay there again when going to Dubrovnik and recommd staying there as well.

Liked: Everything was excellent. The owner not only picked us up from the bus stop but also from the apartment to the bus stop (we had enormous suitcase). He was very friendly, gave us a lot of informations not only about places worth of sightseeing but really good and cheap restaurant, everyday life in dubrovnik. This was not the best place to meet other travellers(but on the other hand quiet and perfect for relax) but the best to meet friendly and hospitable Croatian.

Liked: The owner picked us up form the bus station and was the nicest loveliest man! he told us all there was to know about Dubrovnik and was so helpful and kind. Little far from the old town as its more like 3-4k's away but easy bus ride and pleasant long walk :-)

Liked: Locacted away from the hustle and bustle of the Old Town but close to the beach, cafe and bus stop. Very nice and clean, handy having the litte kitchen there also.

Liked: Room was nice and clean. Owner was very friendly and helpful, plus picked me up and dropped me off at the bus station. He also gave me a map, bus numbers etc. No need to stay in the old town itself. The buses are good and there are restaurants near the rooms alos.

Disliked: The aircon in my room wasn't working due to a previous guest breaking the remote.

Liked: Owner was so friendly and helpful and gave us some great suggestions on sightseeing and eating. Room felt like we were part of the Croatian lifestyle

Disliked: Bit far from old town, but this turned out better for eating and beaching. Buses are easy for sightseeing anyway.

Liked: It was a great place! Really clean! Also the owner when we arrived, picked us up at the bus station, and took us to his place. Then he brought us a beer and basically gave us a history lesson on the area and the history of Dubrovnik, it was so awesome!! You can take in the bus to old town, but walking is certainly do-able and took us like 30 min.

Disliked: absolutely nothing.

Liked: Stjepo and his mother are very nice and welcoming. Stjepo took us from and to the bus station and provided with further info. The laundry is for free and there's free wi-fi.

Disliked: The location is a bit far from the old city but it's 10 minutes bus drive (45 min walking).

Liked: The owner was very friendly and helpful; he picked us up at the bus, and took us back when it was time to go. The apartment was nice, with a bathroom, bedroom/kitchen area in one space. There is also a nice large patio area off of the apartment, where we ate our breakfast every morning. The wireless internet was also great! The apartment is located about a 30 minute walk from the old town, which we walked most days. It was a nice walk, with part of the way overlooking the sea. There is also a bus very close to the apartment which runs every 5 min or so, if you don't want to walk. Also, there is a large grocery store near the bus stop (one of the best we found in Croatia).

Liked: This was a very nice, clean, friendly place to stay, with everything that you could want out. The room had a fridge, a TV with cable, and a bathroom. It's located on a hill, and it was beautiful. Located close enough to the coast, and a grocery store. The owner is supper nice, and pointed out everything to us, gave us a map, and picked up/dropped us off from the bus station.
