Liked: Great bar and the staff are really friendly and relaxed. There is a good view of the beach and a free computer for internet.

Disliked: It is right on a very busy road and the fans only work when the light is on. Very noisy at night.

Liked: My mum and me stayed in this hostel and had a great time. She had space to relax undisturbed in the room and comunal area (by day) while I was made to feel right at home in the bar. Thanks so much for the lovely time!!

Liked: Greatest place to stay in Croatia for sure. Greg and Patrick (the owners) are seriously awesome and really fun! Awesome common area/bar and feels more like a family than a hostel. Really sociable and easy place to meet people. Was only meant to stay a couple of nights but ended up staying longer, didn't want to leave! Quite a walk to the beach but greg picks you up at night from the beach when he can which is awesome. Really cool when you have a bung foot and can't walk...thanks Greg! Everyone should stay here!!!

Liked: The company Hostelbookers should not have accepted my booking as the hostel itself was closed and the owner could not understand how I had booked. However he was able to put me up in an appartment on the beach. I was only staying 1 night so used my sleeping bag and towel rather than the towels and made up bed there. It seemed only fair since I was getting a pretty good deal for only 15€

Liked: Main hostel had closed for the season so they put us in a amazing room 10m from the beach...... Couldnt have been better!!!!

Liked: greg (the owner) is a legend. met some great people here and the hostel was just a really good chilled place to hang out and play darts.

Liked: Great location, with views to the sea, and very close to Brela.The hostel has a nice bar to hang out and meet some friends. Relaxed environment.

Disliked: Not such a dislike, but a so so. The rooms are pretty basic and not very clean, and the beds are far from comfortable... but they will do the job. There are communal bathrooms and showers. The heating cylinders are small and you'll find yourself having a cold shower on the busiest hours.

Liked: The owner is a nice young guy.

Disliked: For a couple that is searching a private and romantic place to stay is not such a good place. Not so clean. Plenty of noise because of the cars that passed by. Long way from the beaches to the hostel. Suited for young travelers who like to party all night long with the owner. Maybe in another period of life we would have liked it.

Liked: Excellent value for money and very helpful and friendly staff. Very relaxed atmosphere and felt incredibly welcome.We got picked up from the beach which saved us the walk up the hill. I would definitely recommend this to others - great hostel and Brela is stunning. The beach is beautiful and perfect for swimming.

Disliked: The responsible wasn't there when we arrived and had to wait for over an hour.

Liked: Relaxed and laid back place. Chance to party if you want but no pressure.

Disliked: A little difficult to find and a bit dirty and messy but not a problem unless you are fussy about that sort of thing.

Liked: The bar/kitchen area was open and friendly, always enough space for everyone to eat or party. The Australian owner (Grego!) was so awesome, hilarious, and we extremely appreciated that he drove us up and down to the beach every day so that we could avoid the stairs. The rooms were clean, and if you can handle a little spider once in a while sharing your shower with you, I can say the bathrooms were clean as well. Thanks so much for having us! We had a blast.

Disliked: We may have disliked all the stairs down to the beach? But since we never had to take them, how could we know? Lol. We liked everything else.

Liked: When I arrived, the hostel was closed for the end of the season, so instead they put me in my own private room right on the beach! Really nice guy who runs the place. Lovely town too.

Liked: Greg welcomed us as old mates as soon as we walked through the door. Gave us a lift down to the main part of Brela and pointed out a few recommendations. The walk back up was tough but we could take it...In the evening we were dropped off at a great restaurant round the corner from the hostel. Next day we were invited onto the hostel boat - unfortunately we had to go but it all showed what a great atmosphere is being fostered at this brand new hostel.Would definitely recommend this to groups who want a good laugh. Be careful on the main road and you'll have a great time!Rob & Louise

Liked: The property has great views although it is a touch far to walk to the beach. However, more importantly was that the guys that operate this Hostel cannot do enough to help you from taking you to fabulous local restaurants overlooking the sea to driving you to the beach and picking you up each day. Thanks it was a great experience.

Liked: Fantastic, fun place to stay with a great party atmosphere (there's a very lively bar used by fellow visitors and locals alike)! The place is a very clean hostel located on the main road just above Brela town. The staff are very friendly and laid back and definitely up for a good time. The free short bar-hopping cruise on the hostel boat was particuarly great! It's a little walk out of town (and up a steep hill) but the owners can easily arrange transport!

Liked: We had a fantastic time at this hostel! It is a small and friendly hostel and the staff are lots of fun and very helpful. I would definately recommend this hostel to everyone...just be aware that it is about 15 minutes by bus to the center of Makarska, but within walking distance to beautiful beaches and Brela town.
