By Bus:

Take a bus from San Jose to Cariari (Caribeños Bus Stop) at Barrio Turnon. Buses leave every day at 9 a.m. to Cariari. Once you're in Cariari, take the bus to La Pavona Port at 11:30 a.m. This bus will take you up to La Pavona port, from there a boat will take you up to Tortuguero where we will be waiting for you.


By Car:

Take the Braulio Carrillo highway to Guapiles, leave the highway in Guapiles and turn left to Cariari. After Cariari look for the Pavona Port street, there is a parking lot where you can leave your car. Be aware that from San Jose up to La Pavona is a three hour drive.


By Plane:

Planes leave to Tortuguero every day at 6 am from the Pavas Airport (Tobias Bolaños Airport) located in San Jose. It is only a 25 min flight.
