‘JC & Friends Hostel’ - Tamarindo Beach is located 1 block from the beach, next to all the services you need - banks, supermarkets, shopping stores, surf stores, restaurants; all in one place !
Our place is a small hostel compared to the other hostels in the area (20 people maximum for lodging), but with a huge area, more than 2000 square meters area including the hostel main building, the huge natural garden, the exterior bathroom building, etc... A unique meeting point where you can admire groups of monkeys every morning and afternoon, as well as to get some mangos from our fruit trees or lay down on at our sun tanning area.
If you are looking for a party hostel, this is not the place, here you can party, relax, but mostly chill out and mellow, and not with excessive parties like other places in the area.
Please notice that BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED.
We are not perfect, but as a new born hostel in the area, we are working hard to become the best place for travelers in the Tamarindo Beach Area.

- 1-2 blocks from supermarkets and shopping centers
- 1 block from the Pharmacy Store
- Bakery, cafés and the most fancy and international restaurants in the area (Sushi, Italian,
French, Asian, Mexican, Costa Rican, etc)
- Bar and night life activities 1 and 2 blocks from the hostel, Babylon Bar and Rey Sol
- Cheap breakfast, lunch and dinner; recommended restaurant across from the hostel entrance (Tahiki Restaurant at Iguana Surf Place)
IMPORTANT !!! There are many mosquitoes in the whole Tamarindo Area, so better bring repellant with you and a net too...
