Las Casas Blancas

We are located in the heart of Santa Teresa, 200m (metres) from beach access, shops and restaurants.

Our cabins are located in a peaceful spot away from the dust and noise of the main road. Each cabin has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, living room and outside space for relaxing, dining or snoozing in a hammock.

We are a relaxed and friendly hostel / guest house with a great secret garden, kitchen and free Wi-Fi. You're sure to meet people from all over the world and have a laid back place to call home in Santa Teresa.

Because the hostel is 3 separate cabins, people tell us it feels more like having your own apartment! There is plenty of space for everyone and you can choose to hang out with people or do your own thing.

We're always on hand to offer help and advice about the local area etc, and can also help you book tours and ATV / car / bike rental.

Choose from a 3 or 4 bed dorm room, private double room or rent out a whole 2 bedroom cabin by the week for the best value if you're travelling in a group or just want to have the whole place to yourself!

All the rooms are recently refurbished with new mattresses. Bed linen is included for free. The living rooms have air conditioning and there are fans for the bedrooms. Bathrooms have 24 hour hot showers and each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living room.

There is a lovely garden plus patios with tables, chairs and hammocks. Fast, free Wi-Fi throughout.

We're located in the heart of Santa Teresa in the Nicoya Peninsula, one of Costa Rica's most popular destinations for surfers, backpackers, nature lovers and yogis.

Las Casas Blancas is 200m from Santa Teresa beach break point and this is a surfer's paradise. If you don't surf, there are lots of other activities and services available including yoga, pilates, dance classes, boat tours, horse riding, spa treatments and massage.

The town has lots of restaurants serving all types of cuisine as well as the typical Costa Rican 'sodas'. The bars have great live music and there's never a shortage of nightlife on offer.

If you want to explore the wider area, we are within easy reach of the Cabo Blanco National Reserve, the waterfalls of Montezuma, the tranquility of the beaches at Playa Hermosa and Manzanillo and the beautiful Isla Tortuga.
