good location, bathroom, wi-fi, friendly staff. On the negative side this hostel is older and looks like it may be due for a good remodel.

It has character and is near to many places in SanJose. The rooms are small and wooden but the place is great to stay at and i will use rhis hostel again when i have to return to San Jose

By far the best thing is the house iteself. used to belong to a local artist. many art works, lovely old house, w/ tinted windows, etc.

The hostel is within walking distance of a grocery store, a good budget restaurant, and the National Museum. The staff helped me plan and book both independent and group tours.
