Our prime location, in the most secure and exclusive zone of San Jose, is just across from the famous Sala Carbo and 100 meters from Paseo Colon. We are situated close to the capital’s main attractions including Parque Sabana, and just meters from the bus terminals, from where you can take buses to the Caribbean and Pacific beaches as well as the Ticabus terminals, the gateway to the rest of Central America.

When you’re ravenous and in the mood for the best in local cuisine, just metres away from our doorstep are some of the best restaurants the city has to offer, where you can try Tico dishes such as gallo pinto, arroz con pollo, casados and tamales. Accommodation Information

We can say from experience that where you lay your head must be immaculate. Our rooms of 4, 6, and 8 follow this idea, starting with bunk-beds that contain great quality, thick mattresses. Personal bathrooms for each room that have hot water unlike many Hostels.

Well circulated cool fresh air thanks to the tall spacious rooms and of course for those couples that want privacy we can accommodate them as well with private bedrooms.

You will be no more than 100 meters from Paseo Colon, the street where most national celebrations take place such as "Festival de la Luz" and "El Desfile de Carrozas" which start off the New Year's party! Most importantly Aldea is just a walking distance away from the main bus terminals that take you all around the country including the Caribbean and Pacific beaches.
