Liked: Not much, was nothing special.

Disliked: Cold showers for dorms, woman said not much I can do. Even though my friend stayed in private room previous night n it was boiling hot water. A man came into our dorm room at 4am to wake up one of the girls. Windows don't lock, but there is a gate to property that u have to buzz into. Also was supposed to be staying the 21st n meeting a friend, but I was too ill to travel there, she charged my friend the full cost. Not v helpful! The hostel was so quiet too! It wasn't like they'd turned ppl away when I couldn't stay there! Also wifi doesn't work in dorms

Liked: The airport pick up was very useful and the driver was really friendly and helpful. Free wifi was good.

Liked: Staff was friendly and helpful. Only mishap was a misunderstanding with the airport shuttle times, which was worked out with a taxi.

Liked: Honestly, this is the best hostel I have ever stayed at. It was clean, bright, and had an excellent staff that was very attentive to my needs. In addition to that, there was a beautiful outdoor pool. The building itself is a restored mansion....not your typical hostel. If you are looking for something different for a great price, Hostel Toruma should be your first choice.
