I liked the atmosfere, but a little bit to far from town. I´m not shore about the safety in the evening.

The owner was very helpful and friendly. Be wary though, this hostel is in a slightly 'seedy' part of town, but then the inner city of San Jose feels like this anyway.

Lovely seating area with plants. Also free internet and laundry.
