Liked: The staff at the Guesthouse and at the Backpackers hostel was very extremely friendely. The atmosphere is very welcoming and inviting. The rooms are well maintained as is the entire premises. This is a great place to meet fellow travellers and exchange travel stories. The hostel staff are friendly and knowledgeable about tours and excursions, and are willing to give advice. Great place to stay.

Liked: Clean, well maintained, nice staff...use of the pool and facilites at the party hostel across the street means that this place is quite. Good for couple or older travelers.

Liked: The bedrooms are very nice, although the bathroom needs a bit of work. Some of the hostel was under construction so it will probably be really nice once it´s done. The facilities in the sister hostel which you can use are really good )travel advice, swimming pool, games room etc=

Liked: I liked that it was very secure, with a 24 hour guard. The people that own hostel were extremely helpful. It was nice that even though San Jose is just a connection area basically, you could just stay at the hostel in the evening, and chill out, watch TV, catch a movie, use the internet, eat at their restaurant, so it was a really good place.
