Liked: family owned, friendly and veryyyy helpful!!! Ronnie was the greatest! He even met us at the bus stop and walked with us to the hostile. I would reccomend this hostile to anyone! Very reasonable as well with a great breakfast thats included!

Liked: Grest place. This price is right . the room was clean. Hot water in the shower, which isn't always the case at some places. Ronny is friendly and helpful. great breakfast included. Great location just two minutes walk to the cnter of Santa Elana. Ronny thanks, Don Buchanan

Liked: We had traveled all over Costa Rica and stayed in many hostels. This hostel was by far the best!!! It was very clean and the family who runs it are very accomodating. I was partial to the clean, hot shower. The price was excellent, too! If you are traveling to Monteverde and need a place to stay, this place is it!!

Liked: Internet, the hostel host was very helpful, and breakfast all for 10 bucks. Even though from the outside, the hostel looks like a shanty, it's a great place. And the children are adorable!

Liked: The staff here was very helpful and bilingual. The breakfast in the morning was great, and the kitchen was also helpful. Our room had a big window looking out onto the forest so it wasnt dark and dingy like some you'll find. The bathroom was clean and the location was great. Close to grocery store and restaurants, as well as the world of insects and the frog pond.Great stay!

Liked: it offered free breakfast, which was good. they had a laundry service (for $6), which i utilized. it is near the main town, but looks bad from the outside and was kind of loud at night (outside noise).

Liked: I cannot reccomend this hostel highly enough. The owner Ronnie is great fun and very helpful with all aspects of your stay. The breakfast is fantastic and the beds are the comfiest dorm beds i have slept in during 7 months of travelling!
