Liked: We stayed at the hostel for 6 nights and loved it! We have been traveling for 6 months and this is definitely one of the best. Nicest sheets and blankets we have had on a bed. Great breakfast and great staff!

Liked: The Hostel itslf is very clean, has a big, well-equiped kitchen and a nice terrace and commonroom to sit and chat with other backpackers. Freddie and his wife are very helpful with booking tours, finding places to eat and encourage you to practice your Spanish. It has a supermarket right around the corner but it is not on a main street, so it is very quiet during the night. And they have warm showers. We enjoyed our stay very much, thank you!

Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful. They booked ours tours for us and. Gave good recommendations. The room was clean and breakfast every morning was delicious.

Liked: The location is great and the staff is very friendly. Even though the owner didn't speak english he was very helpfull:) They offers lots of different tours and the breakfast is good:)

Liked: We loved our time at El Pueblo. Freddie and Marlenny were so wonderful, friendly and helpful and the hostel is a great location. Quiet but a minutes walk to the town.

Liked: the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. they met us at the bus stop and offered me a rain jacket because the weather was bad. the private rooms were very clean and spacious, with nice bathrooms too. remember, monteverde is COLD, but we loved the warm fleece blankets on the beds. i would absolutely stay here again.
