Liked: Very good location close to everything and a helpfull reception about information in the area. The rooms and living room are cleaned every day and it feels safe at the hostel.

Disliked: The hostel describes itself as the best outdoor kitchen in the area which is a little over-reacted. It is very small and only 1 person can cook per time. There is no hot water in the kitchen which makes it a bit difficult when you do your own dishes. The night guard during my stay was a little unfriendly. He gave us orders to shut down the light and go to bed at 10.00pm every day even if there were nobody sleeping and we were talking very softly. He was even threatning to call the police if we were not listening to him..

Liked: I like everything of this hostel, only 1 block away from the supermarket, easy to go and get food and beers, cook at the hostel, you can use everything, refrigerador, stove, microwave, in the morning there is coffee and nice breakfast and the nicer thing about it, is that each dorm room has the own private bathroom and the best hot showers that u can find in Costa Rica, also the stuff is really nice, happy and friendly and help you out with the best tours and deals and also how to get around the country. I really like this hostel i recomment you to stay here if you are going to Monteverde, you would feel relax, just like at your home. They also have computer and wi fi internet.

Liked: VERY friendly and helpful staff...some of the best I have ever experienced. Location of the hotel was very close to town. Furthermore the staff was very helpful in arranging tours around the area.

Liked: The proce was great! The location was pretty central, really close to all amenities. The common room was a great place to meet the other travellers and chill out. Free internet use was awesome, no other place we stayed at had that. The staff was really friendly and helpful when booking tours.
