Casa Tranquilo Hostel is a unique place settled near the village of Santa Elena. Our privileged location allows you to enjoy the cloud forest and take advantage of the services near the village.
Casa Tranquilo offers our guests double and triple rooms with orthopedic mattresses, a small bedside table and lamp and private baths and nice Hot Water showers. Also available are private rooms with shared bath. There are no dorms!. Also included in the rate is the use of our fully equipped PC and broadband Internet. Wi-Fi is also available in the house for those who travel with their laptop.
Our self serve breakfast includes cereal, toast, eggs, fresh fruit, coffee & tea. At our pension we serve early your breakfast so you have a chance to take the morning tours in the cloud forest. Also coffee and tea are available during the day free of charge.
Casa Tranquilo is one of the few places to stay at in Santa Elena that is surrounded by native tropical trees such as Mango, Guayaba, Bananas, Avocado, Lemon, etc. Many birds also feed off the surrounding bushes. Bird watchers might enjoy an early morning on our terrace. We also have sporadic visits of wildlife such as sloths, squirrels, toucans and blue crowned mot mots that feed in the area.
Our goal at our hostel is to provide higher standards to budget travelers.
Rates Include a buffet breakfast, use of our PC with Internet Connection, use of the kitchenette, parking area, coffee and tea during the day.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR STUDENTS:
Remember to bring a student ID. We can give you up to 15% discount on
different activities in the Monteverde area, including canopy tour,
suspension bridges, and entrance fees to the parks and nature
exhibitions.
If interested we can also arrange airport pick ups and other
transportation services.

IN CASE OF NO SHOW AND NO CANCELLATIONS MADE, RESERVATION WILL BE CHARGED
IN FULL FOR THE ROOM(S) AND NIGHT(S) BOOKED. CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE
AT LEAST 48 HOURS BEFORE ARRIVAL DATE, NO CHARGE IF SO. CANCELLATIONS
MADE WITHING 48 HOURS OF ARRIVAL DATE 50% CHARGE FOR RESERVATION BOOKED.
