Liked: the owners are very friendly, the breakfast good, the dogs cute, good information, its quiet

Liked: great breakfast, the lady working at the recepcion is great and sociable, great landscape like in a jungle

Disliked: too many dogs, 40min far away from the beach walking distance

Liked: It seemed pretty secure.

Disliked: For what we paid for this private room, it was absolutely not worth the money. The state of the bathroom, no hot water, and the room was 93 F at 10pm when we attempted to go to sleep. There was no way someone could sleep in that tiny bunk bed by the ceiling with it being those temperatures down by the floor. The night there was so terrible that we had to leave. The owner would not refund us for the second night and we ended up eating all that money. The internet only works in one spot outside. This place was the most disappointing of our 2 week trip travelling around Costa Rica.

Liked: The owner was very friendly.

Disliked: I was the only guest at this hostel for 2days. It was a very boring place. When I came back at night to make dinner, the kitchen and the common areas were locked so I had to go eat at restaurants.

Liked: French toast and fruit for breakfast that was included was great! Solangie is so sweet!

Disliked: Maybe the locks on cabinas could be improved-we could never get our keys to work

Disliked: The location because is down stairs... is like "bajo" "guindo" And you can't see by street, but inside it is nice

Liked: Clean rooms, great free breakfast, safe, and friendly staff. Solangie (the lady who runs the hostel) booked all our expeditions, and she gave good ideas of things to do in the area. We had fun too because her son helped take us around to all these great locations so we felt really at home. They cleaned our rooms every day too!

Disliked: Nothing really. It was a great atmosphere! Just be careful w/ the hot water...I kept getting slight shocks in dorm 1 since the hot water is run w/ electric...feels like a sting. Hot water is more tepid then hot.

Liked: The rooms were like living in small townhouses and very spacious. A homecooked Tican breakfast in the morning was great too! When looking for this place, it was a little difficult to find, as the sign isn't too big... don't get it mixed up with other hostels called Backpackers!

Liked: Lage mitten im Grünen, etwas ruhiger, sehr freundliche Hostelbesitzerin, nettes Zimmer und sauber, Wäscheservice, direkt neben leckerem, günstigen Restaurant und nur 200m von COSI entfernt, vielleicht etwas teuer, aber für CR schon ok!!Danke für eine tolle Zeit

Liked: The host was very nice and very friendly. She made good breakfast. The rooms are extremely spacious. It is really a good place to stay even though you don't have an ocean view.

Liked: it was clean and safe. the manager (angie) was very helpful and sweet. It has 3 levels with rooms on the 1st and 2nd levels. the bus to manuel antonio national park passes by every 15 min and is $0.50 to ride. it was way better than i imagined. there is a big rottweiler that guards the place, its huge! all in all awesome place for the $$$ and right between quepos and manuel antonio beach.

Liked: Keep your eyes open on the bus from Quepos, as it goes to Playa Manuel Antonio via Manuel Antonio itself. Very friendly place, a great place to practice your Spanish if you want to, and also in a nice quiet location handily positioned close to a supermarket, bars and restaurants. Worth staying here!
