 First of all, the people that run the hotel are amazingly nice. Roy and Freddy Brown treated us like royalty. The actual rooms were nice in that they were made daily and had bathrooms in each room. The location is good in that it has a great view of the volcano (although it isn't really walking distance in the rain to La Fortuna). Overall, the vibe of the place was good and I would stay there again if I ever go back to Arenal.

Nice and clean rooms, great discount through hostelbookers,beautiful view of the Arenal volcano and very friendly staff that helped us organise not only our stay here but also transport to other destinations. Simple and comfortable hotel outside la Fortuna, perfect for visiting the region!

The people were absolutely incredibly nice. Overall, Ticos and Ticas are very nice people but here they truly were above and beyond in this hostel. Moreover, it was not expensive yet it was very clean with working AC and very decent accomodations.

The staff were extremely helpful. They booked all of our tours for us and told us of good places to hang out and eat. They even arranged for breakfast one morning that we overslept and allowed us a slightly later than usual checkout so that we could go on a tour and have time to back our bags and shower before checkout. Very accomodating.
