Liked: I liked the location of this hostel - it is very centrally located.

Disliked: The staff isn't around very often and they don't post any instructions on how to get ahold of them in case something happens - this wouldn't be a good place for an inexperienced traveler. Also, there are some college students living there and they were loud when they left and returned; also it was very late at night. It wasn't extreme, just don't forget your earplugs.

Liked: Within walking distance of anything you would need in Heredia Centro. Banks, Restaurants, Bars, Super Market, Post Office, etc. All the busses stop only a few blocks away, making it extremely easy to get around. Rooms and bathroom were clean, typical for CR electric showers, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including condiments and ice. We stayed for a few days past our reservation and the owner gave us a discount rate. WIFI worked great in room and throughout hostel.

Disliked: The staff was very friendly and helpful when they were there. We were the only occupants of the hostel for the few days we stayed, so it is understandable, however it can be inconvenient. Knowing some Spanish would be helpful as there were no English speakers, but that's pretty much true for anywhere you go in Heredia. Overall, typical hostel experience, nothing glamorous - clean and safe, great for the price.

Liked: I liked that it provided me with an opportunity to get what I needed done at a reasonable rate.

Disliked: The people who ran the hostel were rarely on site to answer questions.

Liked: Quiet and relaxing, clean, huge kitchen area and tons of room for lounging.If you need a place to catch your breathe, do laundry and research this is it!Owner was very helpful with getting my lost luggage from the airline and his nephew was helpful and pleasant throughout my 3 day stay.Good English skills and that is a bonus!Best mattress I have ever slept on in a hostel.

Disliked: Rena left no negative feedback.

Liked: The hostel was clean and calm...close to the action but not trampled by it. The owner and workers were the jewels though. The owner, Ana, picked me up from the airport, gave me a walking tour of the town-where she was very popular, took me to the weekend market where she does her shopping for her cafe, and introduced me to many locals. The other worker, Gloria, has helped me look for a job and find a place to rent.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.
