Ecolodge Coter lake

In north Costa Rica here is the oldest Ecolodge of the country. Dedicated to ecology, responsible tourism, and newly renovated, we offer you a restfull stay, in nature meeting the Malekus indigenous. Far away from noise and pollution, out of time, here is a place to rest and resource or make a seminary. Watching the toucanos, meeting a Coati or a pizote or an ocelot. Admiring the heart shaped lake the Coter lake.

On a private reserve of 330 ha, we offer 38 bedrooms, some in the main construction, and others in bungalows, with a great view on two lakes lake Coter and the Arenal volcano.
Activities are: walking in forest more than 10 km path, horse riding, boat tour , fishing , destress therapies, yoga sessions.

38 bedrooms with private shower; The bungalow bedrooms have private shower, terrace, security box, cofeee maker. The bedrooms are single, double or triple. The bungalows are double or triple. There are 2 descapacity bedrooms.
A dining room, a library, a chemney salon, with a DVD player. There is an internet access in the lobby. We may organize your day tours to Rio Celeste or Arenal volcano or help you to rent a car.

Location Information

One and a half hour from Libéria airport, and 3 and a half hour from San José airport. There are regular shuttle bus coming to our place.
Two hours from Monteverde
Ten minutes from the village (banks, supermarket, stores), we are the only hotel in front of the Coter lake.
The beaches (Tamarindo, Brazilito, Coco) are about 2 hours drive.
