Liked: Free airport shuttle, the only reason I stayed here the night before my return flight.

Disliked: The description of how to get here was very vague and limited. If I hadn't had an Alajuela local to take the bus with me, tell me where to get off, and then walk me to the hostel's front door, I would never have found it!

Liked: cleanliness and situation

Disliked: I booked a double room, and during the check in, I forgot to mention that I would come with my girlfriend later ... at 2am, it was almost impossible to negotiate with the night watchman ... because she was not in the registry .. I know there are rules, but I've never seen someone so rude and bad .. we negotiated more than 20 minutes, and at one point, I thought it would really not possible that she comes with me in the bedroom that I had paid. I travel a lot, I ve never seen someone such imbecil .... He has much disrespect .... this is very bad for this country where people are really friendly ...

Liked: Near to the airport, very friendly and helpful staff. They will drop me off at the airport for free at the end of my vacation.

Disliked: Although i wrote two mails with the exact time of my arrival, nobody was there to pick me up, i had to take a taxi. They said the exchange rates changed, so they charged me a bit more for my stay.

Liked: nothing

Disliked: There is no free shuttle to the airport after 10am, the staff is not helpful at all. They have a hotel guide but this man always wants to sell tours and shuttle trips, not helpful at all!!

Liked: Because I was late arriving (2 A.M.), they allowed me to stay in a bunk room alone so I would not disturb anyone, plus I could sleep late without being disturbed. They also extended my check-out time to give me more rest. Although I missed their breakfast, I was directed to a mercado with a wonderful variety of eating places.

Disliked: I had to ask for soap and paid $1 for a towel. I should have been told about that when I checked in. However, I discovered others had their own, so I realize that is normal.

Liked: That is was close to the airport and that they provided a shuttle to airport.

Disliked: It would be nice if they had more options on the restaurant menu.

Liked: Central, nice bar and TV room, clean and safe

Disliked: The 'free breakfast' is just coffee and a small bag of cookies!!

Liked: Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. We arrived late, but the restaurant reopened just to cook us supper, which was fantastic and meant that we didn't have to haul our hangovers from New Year around town looking for food.

Disliked: Anthony left no negative feedback.
