Leaving the airport please use the left exit door. There you will find the ticket sale for the official airport taxis. A taxi from the airport to the Hotel Coconut House costs 8,- US$, a minibus for up to seven persons costs 10,- US$. The taxis are waiting in front of the exit. The ticket with the driving destination has to be handed to the driver. Taxi drivers in Costa Rica do not expect tips.

We recommend not to use any other taxis but the official orange colored airport taxis, which can be used only by the above mentioned ticket sale at the airport exit. Other non-official taxis might take you to overpriced hotel to get a comission. Illegal taxis with private cars are not recommend for safety reasons
