Hostel Villa Mary - "Your home away from home" during your stay in Taganga!

Mary, a native born Colombian, came to Taganga 18 years ago and had a dream, that one day tourists from all over the world would come here and experience the magic of this fishing village. Fourteen years ago Mary’s dream finally came true.

Hostel Villa Mary was built from the ground up (a piece at a time), and now stands as a 2 story - 9 bedroom hostel. Located in the heart of the town approximately 2 blocks from the beach, Villa Mary is the perfect place for people to come and experience Mary’s dream. Today, Hostel Villa Mary is a place many people call home during their stay in Taganga.

Our goal at Hostel Villa Mary is to provide you with a comfortable, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You can spend the day reading a book in one of the hostel’s hammocks or make new friends while sitting around the family style dinning table. Also, you can speak to our friendly English/Spanish speaking staff about booking tours and restaurant recommendations.

Our hostel has 8 rooms (1 dormitory and 7 private rooms). All rooms have private bathrooms and ceiling fans. The dormitory and one private room have air conditioning (A/C) as well. Prices range from 15,000 pesos for a bed in the dormitory with A/C, 40,000 pesos for a double room, 75,000 pesos for a double room with A/C, and 20,000 pesos per person for a private room with that sleeps 3-5 people. (Prices subject to change depending on season.)
