Liked: This is a very peaceful place, with delicious food and simple but luxurious accommodation by the sea. It was possible to get to Tayrona for the day by bus (or you could get a taxi) but lovely to return to these quieter surroundings (and a good meal, the food at Tayrona not so great). We enjoyed walking along to the river and seeing many birds, going to the waterfall (another bus ride) and swimming as well as reading a lot.
Disliked: only difficulty could be that no staff speak english (not a problem for us) also the instructions for arrival were not clear, we needed to ring and get clearer guidance for our bus journey (might have been easier if we had come by taxi)
