Overview

CasaLina is a beautiful place outside the city of Santa Marta to rest, relax and enjoy nature. We are surrounded by gardens and palm trees.

The weather is always sunny and warm most of the year.

We offer organic meals from our land, (fruit and vegetables), fresh sea food, meat and poultry, vegetarian, typical Colombian food, etc.

Taste the best coffee in the world right from the Sierra Nevada and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Try our home made bread!

Accommodation Information

We have 3 available cabins:
One cabin for 4 persons: 1double bed and 2 singles with private bath, Mini-bar and terrace with hammock.
One cabin for 2 or 3 people: 1 double bed and 1 single with private bath, Mini-bar and terrace with hammock.
One cabin for 3 or 4 people: 1 double bed and 2 singles with private bath, Mini-Bar, terrace with hammock. It's in front of the beach.
Every room has vents, and the natural air that comes straight from the sea.
Every room has a mountain, garden or a sea view.
Meals are included for all accomodations.
Breakfast is included in Hammock Accomodation only.
There's an area for camping with 5 hammocks, area for tends and bathrooms.
Internet access.
English spoken.
We also give information and arrange tours in the surrounding area including Tayrona Natural Park and Santuario Flora y Fauna Los Flamencos.

Location Information

CasaLina is located in the coast area of The Sierra Nevada Natural Park between Santa Marta and La Guajira.
we are close to the rivers Palomino and Don Diego where you can practice rafting and kayaking and do some trekking up in the mountains.
At 1 hour is The Santuario Fauna y Flora Los Flamencos where a local guide rides you through the lake to see the Pink Flamingos and a great variety of birds.
At half hour is The Tayrona Natural Park with amazing beaches, native vegetation and fauna.
The nearest town is Palomino, where you can buy groceries and eat typical food.
Our hostel is an ideal place for bird watchers because of its location, where you can find a variety of bird species. Besides, it's close to Minca and San Lorenzo, Sierra Nevada, the most important endemism areas of the world.
