If you're looking for a very relaxed and quiet stay, I can recommend you this hostel. We've stayed 3 nights longer then planned. We found it very clean and peacefull. There hammocks and a nice small garden.
Overview
El Arupo Hostel-Medellin was established in July of 2009. It is a beautiful house, built by one of the best architects in Medellin. El Arupo is located on the most desirable streets of "Barrio El Poblado." There you can find some of the best restaurants in Medellin, at only 5 minutes walking distance from the famous "Parque Lleras." It is the perfect atmosphere for relaxing, and making new friends from all over the world, while having a beer in our cosy living room or our beautiful garden.
Al Arupo is located in one of the most desirable streets of "Barrio El Poblado." There you can find some of the best restaurants in Medellin, all only 5 minutes walking from famous "Parque Lleras." It has a perfect atmosphere for relaxing, and making new friends from all over the world, while having a beer in our cosy living room or our beautiful garden.
We have been making the difference with special services to our guests in hostels since 1993 when we opened our first "Hostal El Arupo," in Quito-Ecuador. We are now happy to open another in Medellin-Colombia.

EL Arupo offers an array of clean and cheerful rooms along with great communal facilities. Six comfortable rooms with Wi-Fi connection, in case you need to work from your room.
