Liked: the atmosphere was great and so as the people working there. I would stay there again.

Disliked: was kind of noisy and no beers for sale after coming back from the club :(

Liked: - lots of entertainment options (swimming pool, volleyball, soccer, billiard etc) - good inhouse bakery - decent location - many travellers - free wifi

Disliked: - noisy doorbell (you may need earplugs at night). - party center "Zona Rosa/Parque Lleras" is nearby, but only groups should consider walking there at night (hostel is on a dark, lonely road) - teambuilding activities would be a great plus - would break up the closed groups many nationalities form

Liked: It`s a really good to place to stay in Medellin once the Hostel is located in a very beautiful neighbourhood (Patio Bonito) and we can get all the assistance you need from the hostel staff. I really recommend this place! Cheers!

Liked: The Swimming pool is nice and they have a pool table!

Disliked: Staff are not very kind.. the bar is not so good.. and the worst - there is no justification for the money that u pay! Basicly go to Casa kiwi - the best hostel in Medellin!

Liked: very good pooltable (for free!), good basketballcourt, good prices for drinks, fantastic and cheap dinners.

Disliked: dorms are quiet noisy and for the amount of people staying there 3 computers are def not too many i think.

Liked: kitchen is good. they provide free coffee in the morning.had a notice board for activities

Disliked: we have never complained about a hostel before but this hostel was a major disappointment and a let down annoyed more by the fact that it is irish owned. we booked a 4 bed dorm which is in theory about a 30 bed dorm.you have to walk through the other dorms where people are sleeping to get to it and there isnt even a proper wall, it doesnt join the celing so in fact the room is open to all the ajoining dorms. wifi service was terrible&you have to pay to use the computers.no map of the local area provided.bathrooms were grotty.there is no security in the dorms anyone is free to walk anywhere.its a party hostel which is fine but trying to sleep above a bar is next to impossible even with earplugs.beer and drinks are overpriced.kitchen closes at 10pm, so noone is allowed to be hungry after that time or even get a drink of water, we arrived just after 10pm. the pool was disgusting with bottle tops and cig butts floating in it. what annoyed me the most is they offer a free nights accommodation if you give them 100% on hostelbookers website...what a sham!!

Liked: Very cool place to stay. Great vibe and the outdoor areas are perfect for relaxing or playing a bit of sport. The hostel is also in a very convenient location.

Liked: The facilities are decent and the layout it nice. The showers could use better curtains so water doesn't go everywhere but the pressure and temp is good

Disliked: The staff wasn't helpful at all, rude and seemed as if they were annoyed every time you asked them something.

Liked: The showers are hot. The staff are hot (pretty unfriendly though). The pool is great. Beer is cheap. Bar is great.

Disliked: Staff a little unfriendly. WiFi hardly works. Noisy if you are trying to sleep. Difficult to find.

Liked: Great hostel & Great staff. This hostel has everything you need.... Swimming Pool, Bar (open til 2am), Pool Table, Dart Board, Mini- Basketball/Football Pitch, Large TV/DVD Room with all cable channels, loads of DVD´s to choose from and very comfy couches, Big Kitchen, Internet, Table Tennis, In-House Laundry, In-House Massuse (though believe she will be off travelling herself soon) and a range of accomodation to suit everyone´s budget. At the time of writing, the dorms ranged between $17,000 to $23,000 Pesos, and privates from $30,000 to $60,000. Initially I was only staying for a weekend, but extended this to 10 days, then returned for a further 5 days after travelling to the North. One of the best atmoshere hostels I have stayed in during my 5 mths travels. Great value for money and would recommend to all.

Liked: This hostel has by far the best facilities of any hostel I have ever seen. Pool, Bar, massive TV/Movie room, Kitchen and huge yards. The atmosphere is awesome even when it was a little quiet during our stay. People who have written bad comments about the hostel being out of control need to have a look at what they are getting themselves into before booking and maybe go to a Youth Hostel not a Party hostel.Highly recommend!

Liked: The place was really the great the have more facilities than i have ever seen in any other hostel. The staff were really helpfull and outgoing and the beds were super cumfy. Definatly a must to stay if visiting medellin

Liked: I have stayed in hostels around the world and have never been treated as badly as I have at the Pit Stop. Avoid at all cost! The Black Sheep is around the corner and better.
