Liked: The location was in La Candelaria which was handy for exploring the old part of the city.

Disliked: Absolutely everything! DO NOT STAY HERE. This was one of the worst places we have ever stayed. Every staff member was under the age of about 16 years and didn't seem interested in helping us with anything - no maps or advice on the area was available from them - it didn't even seem like a legitimate hostel. We asked for a private room with a 'garden view' (as advertised online). There was no garden and the room was absolutely nothing like the photo. The beds were simpy awful and there were cigarette butt stains and holes through the sheets. There was a cat sleeping on our bed when we first arrived, which the staff member didn't really see as a problem! The rooms were certainly not clean - we didn't shower due to the state of it. The 'wall' between the rooms was really only a cardboard divider - even the light from the other room came through it! There was a kitchen avilable for use, but when we arrived, the young staff members had all their friends over for drinks, who took up the whole kitchen and made us feel very uncomfortable. In addition, it was not even value for money!! Overall, we certainly did not feel welcome here, and certainly not safe. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

Liked: Cheapest hostel in the area. Internet worked well. Kitchen was large and had lots of stuff to cook with.

Disliked: It was very "no frills" and didn't have lots of character.
