About Musicology hostel
Our beautifully-restored colonial house has two patios and hammocks to chill out in. We offer a fully-equipped bar and lounge with reasonably-priced food and drinks and a daily happy hour as well as a common room to watch movies, hang out and use high-speed internet on our public computers for free. WiFi is also available at no charge throughout the entire hostel.
We often offer live music and have an awesome speaker system in the bar but at the same time strictly maintain quiet hours to make sure that anyone who wants a peaceful night of sleep gets it.
All of our dorms have big lockers and our en-suite rooms have recently been remodeled and are among the best of all Bogota hostels!
Our rates include a free breakfast with unlimited Colombian coffee and tea, towels, local calls, use of our guest kitchen, a book exchange, free and secure luggage storage for as long as you need, complimentary use of hostel facilities after check-out time and early check-in at no charge should your room or bed be available.
Our reception is 24-hours, there is no curfew or lockout, we offer laundry service and even a Friday-night bar hopping party bus!
In addition to the high-quality services we provide, we also pride ourselves on our ecological principles. We are among a small few of hostels in Bogota that recycle and all wood used in the hostel from our bunk beds to the bar and reception came from demolition sources.
Our amazing staff will be more than happy to assist you with your onward travels, advice on what to do in Bogota and just about anything else you need.

There is also the option to take the Transmilenio metro system directly from the airport to the Las Aguas station and walk on the 4th avenue for less that 10 minutes to reach the hostel. Take bus K86 from the airport just outside the international arrivals terminal to the first stop (Portal el Dorado) and change there to the J6 which will take you close to the hostel.
From the Bus terminal:

A taxi ride from the bus terminal should cost $10000 Colombian pesos during regular hours, and around $13.000 Colombian pesos if you take the service after 8pm until 6am.
