And mainly because we, the owners of Musicology hostel, are long time backpackers from various countries that in between us we have visited more than 100 countries and slept in hostels in all of them.
In Musicology we tried to create our dream hostel. A hostel just the way we would like to find when we travel, implementing “wisdoms” we picked along the way but mainly avoiding the things we learnt not to do from other hostels we stayed in.
Our beautifully restored colonial house has 2 patios, a garden and hammocks to chill out on. We have a fully equipped bar, all staff speak fluent English, hot water with strong pressure 24h, blankets like your mama will leave on your bed at home, extra wide bed, best mattresses in the market and private bathrooms in most our dorms.
The room price includes free breakfast, free dinner (yes, it's not a printing mistake), free bed sheets and towel, free internet, free Wi-Fi, free local calls, free safe deposit boxes in all dorms with electricity plugs in them to safely charge your electric toys, free use of the guest kitchen, free smiles, free Salsa classes every Thursday, free exchange library, free luggage storage, free and complete travel info about Bogota and the area, free use of the hostel after checkout until 23:00, including showers and internet, free games and playing cards and much more.
