About Casa Bellavista Hostel
Casa Bellavista offers lots of tourist information and activities around the city, such as bike tours, party buses with other hostels and ecological hikes in the mountains around Bogota. And for those days/nights in the hostel, you can relax with a book and take in the view from our sun room, take a free salsa class in our bar/activities room, or cook your own meal from one of the recipes our guests leave on the kitchen wall. Don´t forget to step outside the hostel on a weekend and catch some live music in the plaza!
We offer medium-sized and small dormitory style rooms with private or shared bathrooms, as well as private rooms. All our beds have new mattresses and lots of blankets to keep away the Bogota cold.
We also help you how to get around the town, use a metrobus, and find museums, shops, language schools and typical food. We teach you how to prepare Colombian hot chocolate (best in the world). Yes, we all speak english here but wouldn’t you like to practice you Spanish?! It is a Colombian owned hostel that employs local people, mostly students. Sounds good, right?

Casa Bellavista is located right off the Plaza del Chorro de Quevedo, a plaza with lots of cafes, bars, restaurants, live music and storytellers, and traditional arts and crafts shops. Casa Bellavista is within walking distance to many of Bogota´s most prominent museums (including the Museo del Oro, Museo de Botero, the President´s palace, and others), theatres, walking tours, and other cultural centres. It is also walking distance from two stops on the Transmilenio, Bogota´s public transport system. There are various banks and ATM machines nearby.
