Liked: - Location, location, location - Good value (if location's important) - Small but freshly-made breakfast that varied - Simple, clean, and friendly enough - Wifi throughout and in the rooms

Disliked: - Not your typical hostel in that there's not a good communal area or bar to relax and meet other travelers, no daily services/events, no real style/character - The owner's nice/friendly but the staff not overly so and didn't help with basic questions on the area

Liked: Had a great couple of days at the hostel. The staff (Antonio and Oscar) really made the experience. They were so incredibly friendly and helpful in facilitating trips around the city, calling cabs, etc. I saw that they even offer spanish lessons -- which I desperately needed but alas had no time to take advantage of that particular service. Close to the Heroes bus station and in a good section of town.

Disliked: If I had to remark about something, it would probably be that the walls between the rooms are rather thin, so bring earplugs.

Liked: It´s a very relaxed, clean and safe place to stay, situated in one of the best areas of Bogotá. The staff is very friendly and allways helpfull. I had a wonderfull time!

Disliked: The beds could be a bit more confortable and the water a little hotter

Liked: On one hand Very friendly and helpful owner. Very secure location a few step awy from transmilenio and zona rosa.On the other hand the room was very very old and building was like on the edge to collapse.However overall it was a good value for the money given the area.

Liked: Good safe location, close to Zona Rosa (good nightlife, food, cinema etc) and easy to get to the historic centre by Transmilenio bus. Antonio is great, speaks fluent English and gave us loads of advice about our further travels to Venezuela. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Liked: the location is within great walking distance to zona rosa. antonio and diego certainly were very helpful as they obviously has passion for the hostel. however, the facilities and atmosphere is not quite up to par (when compared to many other hostels that we have stayed at). currently, it's very basic - no frills hostel at a good price. and don't be expecting too much either.

Liked: A wonderful place to stay. Located in a safe area within walking distance to all the good night life in Bogata. Very safe and friendly. Staff are very helpful and an interesting group of travellers staying there.

Liked: I knew that this was going to be a very short stay for me... knew I wasn't going to really need anything more than a clean safe place to sleep... and wanted a great value. ChapiNorte delivers this with a huge smile! (Big thanks to Antonio and Diego for their helpfulness with my super early morning flight arrival.... and directions around Bogota!) A Hilton this isn't..... but if you're looking for something very basic, safe and clean.... and in a great location.... VERY close to the Zona Rosa area... I highly recommend!
