Liked: They picked us up from the train station and took us to the hostel. Which was better than walking with our backpacks. They advised us of the cheapest ways to get around town and booked our train tickets for us. The atmosphere at the hostel is very good and they always put movies on at night.

Liked: Easy to direct taxi drivers too, given proximity to 8th Army office. Lots of character with courtyards and bar. Chinese food v good; though western breakfast disappointing. Sells v cheap beer.

Liked: They emailed us to check our reservation as soon as we booked. They met us at the train station and showed us the way. They were very helpful and organised a tour for us. They loved the children, and the children loved their dog! The rooms were clean and there was plenty of hot water. It was a nice relaxed place but not to noisey at night time.

Liked: only stayed for one night, i liked the character of it, very "chinese" and when we arrived we were given some tea, very sweet gesture. Plus its close to the train station, but 500km with heavy bags feels like a lot longer. toilets were clean and showers hot-always a bonus. and the dog is definately the cutest thing ever!! The only thing i would say is that if you're fussy about you're bed don't stay here, they are as soft as concrete and you are supplied with a towel for a "blanket", when they describe bedding they mean a towel for a cover- just thought id mention that as no-one else did!!! Overall it was nice but wouldn't stay here again cos im fussy about my bed!
