Value for money, the staff were excellent and so helpful. The food was great also. We net alot of people there as the common room was very welcoming.

Great hostel, only the second one we had stayed at but other more experienced travellers said this was the best they had ever stayed at. Great restaurant area with good food and then a huge bar downstairs. Rather random Scottish guy playing but gave us topic for convesation.
Really helpful staff and good value for money tours on offer.
Location was great and really close to everything.

Atmosphere, retaurant and bar, standard of rooms, ability to meet people, the best hostel we have stayed in by far...don't go anywhere else in XiAn!!!

The Terracotta Warriors tour was great, I hghly recommend it. On the other hand, there were only 2 toilets and 2 showers for all the dorm rooms, and they were located upstairs, so you had to pass the bar and restaurant to get to them, at night this was annoying, I would't want to have stayed when the hostel was busy.

definitly recommandable, one of the best hostels we checked in so far (and we're already travelling for 8 months...), best informed und well english speaking staff, central location and reasonable prices (even for the tours, as far as we can compare 'cause we tried it on our own as well, not allways the cheapest opportunity...)

Great bar, very helpful staff. The lady who picked us up at the station even helped us to book our ongoing train tickets at the ticket counter.

Really liked this hostel, the restaurant did great breakfast and pizzas!the free beer isa great chance to meet up with other ppl and all around atmosphere was great!!staff very friendly and helpful.

Due to the tour, we meet a lot of people so we had a great time at the attached Traveller Cafe chatting, drinking, singing etc.
The tours are cheap (compared to Beijing) and great fun. They are even very flexible with booking etc.

Staff very friendly & helpful, speak excellent english.
Tours are good, but if you go to Terrecotta Army what they don't tell you is if you show international srudent card you will get money back on the day.
Bar is fab - free beer every night
Cafe food is nice but not cheap.
Only downside is there is no lounge to chill & watch dvd's on rainy days!

they we fantastic at helping us book our flight out of Xian and helping us organise transport. the tour guide on the Terracotta warriers tour was great and in english

great location, free beer, free iternet, staff frendly and helpful but they really need organisation to attribuate the room to guest. It took 3 times before I have a room, every time the room was full.

This place was one of the nicest hostels I ahve ever stayed in. The covered courtyards are really lovely, the staff are really really friendly and helpful and the attached bar is ace!

It is one of the nicest places of this kind, I will make sure more people know about it and come. The general atmosphere was very nice and special and the staff was very friendly and honest.

Free beer every night of stay! The staff are friendly and helpful. The place is fun place to meet people, gives a very good vibe to stay. Can get noisy at night though.

The location of this hostel is really convenient, the hostel is well decorated and very suitable for foreigner to stay in.
