Liked: The staff was so helpful and friendly. Free internet for hostelbookers.com customers. Great restaurant, nice community spaces. Free dumpling party on Friday was fun. We stayed in a private room on a floor outside of the hostel. I believe it was a room through a hotel in the same building. It was a very worn out room... dirty carpet, subpar furnishings. The showers did not have enough cold water, just hot. Go figure. This hostel is better suited for those interested in the dorm rooms.

Liked: THE OVERALL ATMOSPHERE IS A GOOD PLACE FOR BACKPACKERS TO CHILL IN BETWEEN LONG JOURNEYS, HOME FROM HOME, REALLY LAID BACK & VERY FRIENDLY.

Liked: The location was excellent, the little balcony was a nice place to enjoy the view.

Liked: Excellent location..however tour to terracota warriers was slightly disappointing as tour guide diverted to silk shop and various terracota shops.

Liked: The staff went out of their way to help us during our short stay. They even sent 2 people to meet us off the airport bus when we rang to say we weren't sure how to find the hostel from the busstop. A lovely atmosphere at the hostel, and a mix of people staying there.

Liked: it's a great place to meet people and is really central. however, it needs a bit of an overhaul and showers/toilets quite grotty.
