 Nice comfy sofas in the bar. Good location for exploring the city. We had a double room ensuite which was clean and had a good shower! Low bed though...

The atmosphere of the hostel..the double ancient styled bed, the value for money, the bar were you could meet the people to hang out.It was great!One of the few hostels in China were i didn't feel cheated!

It was great. Well located and pretty new. Lots of room to party if you want and it's also seperated enough from the rooms so that you can sleep without hearing it. The rooms are also spacious and clean!

Totally one of the best hostel + restaurant/bar atmospheres I have encountered. I have been all over the place in my time, and this place rocked. The beds were soft and clean with white linens, the staff was very helpful and had lots of suggestions. They weren't just hawking tours; they were actually explaining how to take public buses to the attractions to save some money. The restaurant/bar was awesome, with comfy couches, movies sometimes, really good food, cheap beers, and a cute little bar cat, who runs around visiting people and nuzzling people. Never had such a wonderful experience at a hostel for so cheap. :) *thumbs up*

This hostel has everything a backpacker could want for. Full range of facilites were on offer. The bar/restaurant was very lively and the food/drinks were very good value for money. i would have have no hesistatiion in staying longer if my schedule had allowed it and would have no problems in recommending this place to anyone. the only slight gripe I had was that there were only showers on the third floor whereas i was staying on the first floor, but this is only a minor inconvinence

This hostel is in an old chinese house with great atmosphere and character. It also has a bar and restaurant. Since all the windows face interior, noises from the restaurant and bar can be heard in every room. It gets a little loud at night. Otherwise, it is a great hostel with friendly staff and good facilities.

It's definitely the best hostel we stayed in China until now. The bar is very nice place to meet backpackers like we. If you come to Xi'an - you must stay at this hostel!

Love the old style look they have through the main areas of the Hostel, dont expect your room to look the same though, the furniture is standard/modern. Great little bar and restraunt downstairs.

feels like you're staying in the forbidden city or something as you go through courtyards all Chinese style. Hot showers too!

I really enjoyed stsyng here. It felt safe & very friendly, given that I was travelling by myself. I was also unwell when I arrived & it felt nice & comfortable which enabled me to get better quickly. The staff were great, one of the bar worker's even got me some Chinese herbs for my cold.
