Liked: There's an Internet Cafe in the same building as the hostel between the entrance and the rooms. It seems they don't get many guests (or, at least didn't when I was there) so I ended up having a dormitory room fit for 4 people all to myself. The location near the Metro is very nice, using the Metro can get you pretty much anywhere interesting in Shenzhen that isn't walking distance already very quickly and easily (it has maps for buying tokens, and on the trains themselves a map with LEDs that light up to show the progress so far so you don't need to know Chinese to use it).

Liked: 1>5 blocks from subway. 3 stops to Lo Wu and 1 stop to Chinatown and quite reasonable given the cost of everywhere else..

Liked: Friendliness of the staff, strategic location, very cheap (but it's lilke a hotel already)... If only it has an elevator, it would be very excellent!

Liked: The staff is friendly and at least one can speak enough English so you can get by by it. The location is good, close to the Hong Kong border, and the discripition to get there is easy to follow and it's easy to find it.

Liked: Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Special commendation should go to Qi Qi who is able to relate to people from all over the world without any problem. She is very pleasant and helpful.

Liked: It was small, like a family hotel, the staff were friendlyIt was very good value for money and only 3 stops from the border subway station. The train to Hong Kong only takes about 30 to 45 minutes...

Liked: Very friendly staff who speaks very good english,the manager used to live in Canada and really wants to make of his place a backpacker hangout,and it works. It's actually really small,but has a homely feeling to it, with a nice common room with TV.
