Liked: It was literally opposite the airport which was the reason why we needed to stay in Shenzhen. The room was clean and there was a very helpful English speaking member of staff, Mr Long, who made sure our stay was not complicated by language barriers (as it is everywhere else in China)

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Good location when you need to spend the night close to the airport. Clean, big room. Definitely value for money.

Disliked: When we arrived it turned out there was a two people room prepared for us (three people). Apparently the prices in the hotel weren't the same as online. Luckily, the stuff agreed to my argumentation that its not my problem and we got the room with two beds.

Liked: i wondered the hotel doesn't have an english speaking staff. it's quite hard for me who don't know chinese communicate with the hotel. i think the hotel is served for chinese travellers rather than overseas travellers.

Disliked: the room i stayed is bad filled with smoking....that made me awaked the whole night....

Liked: It's close to the airport, weak-up service

Disliked: Room and bathroom are not clean (for example the "cleaned" toilet seat had water splashs on it, in the corners were water puddles, ...); no internet; almost no sleep because of people on the hallway walking in and out and slaming their doors; the "heat up" button for the Aircondition didn't work, so it was very cold; the bedsheets had holes

Liked: The hotel staff did an good job and were friendly. The hotel was clean and well staffed. The value for what you receive is excellent.

Disliked: The location is not at the airport and a taxi ride is required. They did arrange a cheaper ride back to the airport, however, the cabs at the airport tried to rip me off by charging over three times, what it should have cost. I did manage to get it down to twice the price (60 RMB),but a traveler will have this problem no matter where you stay in Shenzhen.

Disliked: Hard to get a cab, have to walk to the main road, only Chinese, no english

Liked: It was quite clean.

Disliked: We emailed in advance to ask for an aiport pick up giving times and flight number. We got a response saying this was fine - when we arrived at 22.30 there was no one there to meet us - we called the hotel, but they did not speak english. No taxi drivers would take us, the man at the forgein exchange then offered to ring them for us - and after an hour and a half they turned up to meet us. No word of an apology or anything. They then made us sit in the car park for half an hour waiting for a car. Not the best introduction to China. We had booked a double room but were given a twin, the beds were the hardest we've had in Asia - and that is saying something. Staff were unhelpful and we were glad we only stayed the one night.

Liked: It is ok, but I definitely wouldn't "recommend" it to another traveler. It is very difficult to find because they still haven't put their map, directions, or updated phone number on their website, so I ended up spending 50 RMB on taxis to/from the hotel for a 110 RMB room. Also, the room was poorly lit and smelled moldy, although on the upside it was large and clean enough. The staff who I met spoke next to no Engilsh, which made check in take about 25 minutes. All in all, it isn't a bad place, but I've certainly found much better for cheaper elsewhere in China. But it is much closer to the airport that Shenzhen proper, so if you need to stay close to the airport it is an ok choice for a few hours sleep.

Liked: 5 minute-walk to KFC, McDonalds, supermarkets, and various other restaurants. 10 minute drive on taxi to Shenzhen airport. Quiet as there was hardly any other customers, wonder why? OK chinese breakfast (no coffee) if one is not too picky.

Liked: Great rooms. Big and luxurious for 110 yuan. They need to put an address on the website, and update their telephone number. If they put the name, address, and directions in chinese characters, so you can print it out and give it to a green taxi, it would be fine. We got lucky to find an english/chinese speaking Canadian who called information to get the right telephone number and directions, and gave the phone to the taxi driver to talk to reception for directions. Slept through free breakfast, but I am sure it was nice.

Liked: Very cheap, not far from the airport. Just a problem to find a taxi to go there. The red taxis are for long distances so they won´t carry u. And the green taxis are very few and the drivers don´t speak english and if u speak chinese it´s not guaranteed that they know the place, so write down the address of the hotel in chinese are call the hotel who can explain the driver how to go there...

Liked: Hi, I had big problems to find the hotel, because no taxi driver knew the name or adress! So have it with you in Chinese Characters! What´s good about it is, that it's close to the airport (max. 10 min by taxi). But only a small Chinese Breakfast!Chris, Germany.

Liked: room service at a hostel is a super plus- which included fresh towels daily. a large variety of food for breakfast, we left full everyday for no extra charge. It isn't super close to the city though it has convenient bussing.

Liked: A nice hotel and great value for money. Clean, A/C rooms with TV. communal ping pong room! And despite language difficulties, the staff were very helpful, directing us to the bus stop.It's a bit inconveniently located - not that close to the airport but too close for taxi drivers to want to take you! If you stay here - bus 337 goes to the train station or you can get bus 367 to the border of the SEZ and a minibus from there.
