There is lots of sightseeing to be done in the area, all within walking distance from Tavern 47 Hostel...Our friendly staff will be able to show you the direction to all the old town attractions and advise you about the best places to go.
Clean and comfortable private rooms here at the Tavern - all comes with attached bathroom & constant hot water.
There are 2 & 3 bed dorm rooms on the top floor of the Tavern. Clean bedding is provided, showers & a toilet room are in the same house.
Our Kitchen provides for Breakfasts / Dinners, 'Set Meals' at a very low cost.... Please feel free to ask our hostel staff.
Common Lounge with free DVD movies. Free Internet access Land Line or WIFI, Laundry facility on premise.
Tavern 47 is litterally on the top of the old city and less than a stones throw away you will find night scene, market square open throughout the year and no curfew.

Directions / How to find your hostel
When get off at the main highway bus station in Shangri la, you can take the local bue No: 1 to old town just pay 1 Yuan - or take a Taxi for only 6 Yuan.
You will get off in front of a big car park, walk all the way in until the end,come to a very colourful wall, turn right, keep walking & then on your right you will see Tavern47 at the top.
