piers dudley-batemanthe staff were extremely helpful and maintained their composure under, at times very busy conditions. The pool table though cramped for room was free and provided a good opportunity to meet other guests. It would be worth while providing better cues. The bar was good well priced drinks (open until 2 pm).but the coffee could be a bit cheaper. |

Carol MartinI'm an elder hosteler with lots of experience with backpackers, and I thoroughly recommend Mingtown Hikers. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, even lending me an umbrella one rainy night. Some drainage problems in toilets & showers, but it was a comfortable place to stay - even in the 6-bed dorm with aircon and shower/toilet. |
