Liked: Good coffee, and the menu offers a 20% discount to guests at the hostel, which brings the prices from overpriced to pretty good. Close to Nanjing E subway stop, which is a straight line that connects BOTH airports (Pudong and HQ). Nice people and clean.

Disliked: We stayed in a double-room, which was fine, but the shared rooms seemed as if they'd be noisy - lots of hallways for people to walk in, and many of the guests didn't seem too concerned about noise later at night or early in the morning (fine for the double-room, though).

Liked: we had twin ensuite and it was a great room. Quiet, clean, great bathroom, very comfy bed. Wifi in lounge area. Good cafe for cheap brekky. 5 minute walk to the Bund and good shopping and eating district. Close to metro.

Disliked: No wifi in room.

Liked: Very clean room, comfortable beds with real sheets and nice feeling covers, good and cheap food, very close to the Bund and also walking distance from the old town. No window room surprisingly quiet. Big showers, hot water

Disliked: Staff could be a little more helpful but I guess thats just a cultural thing.

Liked: It was during the Expo when we stayed there. Prices surged everywhere, including this one, but it's so far the most reasonably priced option we found. Good value for money. The twin room we had is decent and clean enough, though the school opposite the building generated some noise in the morning.

Disliked: the breakfast. the sausage was bad.

Liked: The location was great and it was a really comfortable guesthouse despite being really big and busy.

Liked: it's ok...

Disliked: There was a window without curtain in the dorm. I couldnt sleep becasue there was a brightly sun sinc 6am!!! . HORRIBLE!!!!!!!

Liked: A good location not far from the Bund and East Nanjing Street, and good communal areas where you can either meet other people or keep to yourself as you see fit.

Disliked: I stayed in a single with shared bathroom for two nights, which was clean but rather noisy so I had to move room. The breakfast in the on-site cafe (costs £2.50 extra) was a little disappointing, with stingy portions of toast and fruit.

Liked: nice hostel, very very clean, good location 5 minute walk from the bund and nanjing road station. staff helpful when asked questions about how to get places.

Disliked: expensive cafe, not much atmosphere, also make sure you book online for the discounted rate, i turned up after booking by phone and the room rates were double what they were online.

Liked: Good location to the city and attractions. Nice mixture of guests. Friendly and comfortable atmosphere.

Disliked: Constant noise of traffic and people throughout the day. Especially early hours of the morning.

Disliked: they turn off the lights in the lobby area promptly at 1 am even when people are using thei internet and the food is overpriced.

Liked: the hostel is directly at the bund, so it´s very easy to reach all the sightseeing things by walk!!! It´s really clean and you can get delicious breakfast here!

Liked: This is a great location - just blocks from the Bund, but far enough away to be quiet. American breakfasts are pretty good, and so is the coffee. Staff are friendly & helpful.

Disliked: There was some type of very strong sweet odor that was supposed to be pleasant in my room - like some type of cleaner. I got used to it but would rather go without it.

Liked: We were very impressed with the hostel - very clean room, friendly atmosphere etc. They did not help us booking train tickets though (which was mentioned on the website and we had hoped to get help with.) I would still highly recommend this hostel if you are looking to stay close to the Bund.

Liked: Awesome hostel! Everything was way over my expectations for a cheap hostel. The whole hostel was very modern and fresh, rooms were clean, good place to meet new people, good and cheap food, good facilities. Also the price is very affordable.

Disliked: Only thing I didn't like was that one of the walls in the dorm had some mould on it. Should be fixed right away.

Liked: Great location, and restaurant and bar. Nice foyer for lounging around, sitting on the net. Nice noodle place for Y5.50 down the road. Restaurant had good valued breakfasts and cheap beers.

Disliked: Bunk rooms were noisy, request one away from stairs and bathrooms. Also beds were VERY uncomfortable. I could feel the springs coming thru, so had to sleep on the duvet. Dont know if all the beds are like this, but wasnt that comfortable.
