 We arrived late, but mangement stayed up waiting for us!

The hostel in all it's simplicity was a great place to stay offering all the basics that I required. The rooms were warm, the showers had hot water, the beds were comfortable, their was internet facilities, a movie room and very helpful & friendly staff. The location was great to get around Shanghai and it was quiet too.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The showers were clean and the aircondiotioning was working very good.
The location was not really in central, and after 11 pm there was no metro anymore.. So when you want te walk out the hostel and party, this is probably not a very good place for you> if you search for a very cozy and homelike place.. it is.

A quiet hostel, for grown ups! Excellent location, clean, with ping pong, pool, DVDs, magazines, internet (cable in private rooms, 2 terminals in lounge and wifi in lounge and bar), only downside is the bar (which is lovely) is only open on weekends.

It is pretty near to all important tourist spots, located in an area, where normal chinese people live. After a busy day in Shanghai it is a very nice place to relax,away from all the skyscrapers and high society.

Everything about the hostel was very good, even the location in a nice Shanghai neighbourhood. The staff were helpful with giving directions and helping book train tickets.

The girls at reception were great. They were really helpful. It was cool to have the ping pong and pool table there too. Very clean. I've been travelling around the world for months and this is definitely one of the top hostels I've stayed in.

Staff was unfrendly, speak bad english, and they didn´t know nothing about shangai but in the tourist office was the same, so I think is a problem in all the city.The hostel was very nice and I recomend to stay there.

This hotel is lovely and really make you feel you are at home. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
Only the location is a bit far from the centre and even if the train station is very close and there are not too many shops or restaurants around.

The staff were really friendly and great with advice on where to go next and what to do with our stay in China. They also provided great advice on where to eat and what to see in the surrounds. Seeing as the hostel had only recently opened and were still in the process of refurbishment i would have to say that when this place is up and kicking it will definitely be a fine choice for a place to stay in Shanghai!
