Property description / Overview of facilities
Located at the city center, with extended transportation network connecting to all attractions, airport, train stations and bus terminals, Cloudland is one of the secret treasures of the city.
Operated by three experienced travelers who have proficient knowledge of YunNan, Tibet and other parts of China, Cloudland provides everything you need on your trip, especially valuable suggestions for your trip arrangement.
We provide free of charge services which include Internet and wireless, table tennis / billiards, free luggage storage for up to 10 days (after 10 days every day requires 1 Yuan payment) and tourism information, and a bar with special character are catered for guests.
Programs are held regularly at the bar, including slide shows of places of interest, and talks on different topics regarding travel and outdoor sports. Guests can get loads of first hand information about traveling in the Mainland China.
Wal-Mart, cinema, night market and Cui Hu Park, KunMing’s famous restaurants and bars street CuiHu are all within walking distance. Dian Chi Lake is within 20 minutes walk of the hostel.

How to come to our hostel
* Airport (8KM, 25 RMB through taxi)
No.52 bus.
Out side of airport take the bus No 52 and take off at Pan Jia Wan(潘家湾) bus stop.It takes about 35 minutes.
(In your right side is a big hospital, walking 50m along the street where the bus going forward.You can see the gate of the hospital .Continue to get across the crossing 'do not swerves '.You can see a small park-Zhuantang Park .As its name implies, Zhuantang Road must be locate around.Going forward for 200m,you will see a smaller crossing in your right.--That is it ,do not hesitate ,turn to the road and the yellow building ahead is your home of course.)
* Train station (4KM, 15RMB through taxi)
No.64 bus
Take bus64 and get off at Yunnan Daily(云南日报社) bus stop.
(You can see an ATM of Bank of China after getting off the bus. Walking 10m backwards, you will find a small crossing,Turning left and walking 150m, you will see the elementary school of Xinwen Road and a garden during the way. Going through the garden and looking to left, you will find a yellow building appears in your sight.)
* Bus stations:
There are countless bus stations in Kunming, but the two biggest stations are the South Station and the West Station. Yunnan Highway Express Station has more regular buses to Lijiang and Dali.
1. The South Station: (4KM, 15RMB through taxi)
No.bus 64
The same as you come from the train station
2. The West Station: (just 1.5KM, 8RMB through taxi)
No.bus 127
It has the shortest distance. You can take bus127 (the bus stop is on the right forward at the opposite side of the road from the West Station) and get off at Zhuantang(篆塘) stop. Following the direction where the bus going forward, you will see the Zhuantang Road after walking 50m. Turn to it and you will get the hostel.)
3. Yunnan Highway Express Station: (8KM, 25RMB through taxi)
No.110 bus
(The bus stop is at the opposite side of the Station. You can take bus110 and get off at Xinwen Road Crossing(新闻路口). Follow the bus for 50m, you will find “Zhuantang Road” at left.)
PS.The buses of Kunming are all without conductors so that you’d better have 1—yuan coins. You can only get on the bus at the front door and get off at the back door.
