Liked: I really loved this hostel. It's right next to west lake hidden amongst the trees instead of in the bustling city area. I see this as a plus. It is very calm and relaxing. The side of west lake it faces is also less touristy than the northern half. Also a plus. My advice is invest in their map and rent one of their bikes for the whole day so you don't have to rely on slow buses and tricky taxi drivers. This is the only town I was willing to bike in all of China and it is very easy. It's a beautiful ride to the tea villages, around west lake, and even the city center. Also, the atmosphere of the hostel is very cozy which makes it easy to meet other travelers.

Liked: It is a very nice place, the staff is very kind, the food is excellent...To be honest i have spent two days in this Hotel and it was very restful... Thank you... I recommand 100% !

Liked: absolutely amazing staff!! especially Kim!!! She helped us with everthing and knows everybody by name!!Their service is the best, the hostel looks cozy and is clean!The only thing they can improve are the beds. They are quite hard.But hey:IT IS BY FAR THE BEST HOSTEL I'VE EVER STAYED IN!!!Thanks for everything!Sandra

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff! Also, it's next to the west lake in a beautiful environment. Via busses, you can easily reach every scenic spot and many nice attractions can also be reached by a walk.

Liked: The location is good, five minutes walk from the Lake, and at the most beautiful end of it - in fact the aesthetics of the hostel itself are, also, delightful. We spent Christmas here, and the staff went out of their way to offer seasonal hospitality and good cheer, with parties, food, drink and cards for everyone. An excellent time .....with very friendly people....in a classic Chinese setting.

Liked: Cool friendly staff who treated you personally, which created a chilled out atmosphere- the staff went to great lenghts in order to facillitate our stay, Frank even rode out in the pouring rain to collect our train tickets! Very clean, good sized rooms and nice communal area, brilliant!

Liked: Nice hostel, good feng shui!! ;) very clean, on suite bathrooms, friendly staff. Free wired internet in rooms for laptops. Highly recomend!
