Liked: Good location and price. Staff were helpful and booked tours for us. Room was pretty big too and we also used the laundry service which despite being a little expensive was very fast.

Disliked: The bathroom was in the room and the walls of it didn't quite reach the roof so any noises could be heard by other person. Aside from this no other complaints.

Liked: It's very clean - almost like a 3-4 star hotel; Very strategic location - accessible by bus to most scenic areas, walking is also possible.

Liked: The girl in charge speaks very good English; good location, very nice big rooms

Disliked: Internet connection through cable or wi-fi in the lobby is not that fast. We booked a transportation there for the terraces, it happened to be a tour that brought us to many other places than the terraces where we therefore stayed like 1h30; it was REALLY disappointing, it ruined the only reason I had to come here in Guilin... The owner knew what I wanted though very clearly. Do not expect too much about the garden described....

Liked: It's all within walking distance to the Bus Station, the Four Lakes, Twin Pagodas, the night street market and the 'West Street' of Guilin. Most of all the stay was mada plesant with a very young, cheery, friendly and helpful host in Jeannie.

Disliked: The lift entrance can be better improved to look more welcoming. Suggestions should be made to the attention of the apartment owner.as Oasis Inn is just ocupying one section of the floor.

Liked: This is a clean place with friendly, English-speaking proprietors. It's homey- like a bed and breakfast but with more privacy. Great value, too.

Disliked: My room was really cold at night (late January) even with the heater on full blast.

Liked: Each ensuite room had a hot water heater, so there was an endless supply of it. The rooms were really nice, large, comfortable, and well stocked. The bathroom had toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, combs, toothpaste, a tv, internet, electric kettle, and slippers. The location was pretty good, as it was close to the main bar area and other city attractions.

Disliked: The hostel did not offer any food for lunch or dinner, though it did offer some drinks. The breakfast was good though. It did not have a very large hang out area.

Liked: Great location, great price, big comfortable rooms, cheap drinks at reception. Atmosphere is pretty relaxed. Hotel is very clean.

Disliked: There's a pretty hard sell on tours as soon as you check in and this continues for the duration of your stay. They're really keen to get you into a tour, though the prices do seem pretty good.

Liked: This hostel is centrally located and close to train and bus stations. The rooms are comfortable and nice. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Liked: very nice desk clerk - they speak English well. No one hangs out here tho, which was OK w/ me. But you will not meet travellers here.what I did not lile - prior inhabitants had obviously smoked in room, was very yucky when I arrived. Carpet very old & seemed to have old dirt init. Mildew in bathroom. That said, bed, linens, hot water, A/C, internet all good.

Liked: The staff were very nice. The room was exceptionally clean. And, most of all, when I arrrived I told them there was only me, (1) and they only charged me for one. This double person charging is a limiting factor with booking through you.
