Liked: The staff is very helpful. You can find everything you need close to the Hostel. The location is really great, direct at the promenade. Very convenient place to explore Guangzhou.

Liked: Very quiet in the rooms but busy out on the street. The hostel is just a long a row of good restaurants and bars...like the neon lights by night...overlooking the seas. So easy to travel around the city by subway and ferry. Must try the desert shop along Luju Lu...steamed milk and many more variety.

Liked: the atmosphere was great. i manage to get new friends. the location beside the river is also beautiful. one thing that i didnt like is the location of the hostel and the train station is quite far.

Liked: Great clean western bathroom with full facilities. Nice people. Emily who greats you with perfect English. The lack of mixed dorms was a drawback. Location ok. By the river, near the small wharf where river cruises leave from, less than 10 mins walk to the tube station. Some restaurants and bars along the street and a nice promenade. One of the most spacious hostels i stayed at in China.

Liked: The hostel room is clean and simple, complete with water-heater and television. It is along the peaceful pearl river and it is instead a safe place to stay. The staff is helpful in calling up a taxi when we went back to ours country.

Liked: it was on the river directly opposite Samian Island and reached by ferry. Because of that the rooms were cheaper.

Liked: The location is good: away from busy traffic- so the air is a bit better! Nice views over Pearl river. The ferry across the street brings you direct to Shamian Island.

Liked: The hostel is amazingly close to the subway which is excellent for looking around the city. Staff in this hostel are very helpful and friendly.

Liked: friendly place, great location along the pearl river, very easy to get to shamian island for lucy's happy hour of buy one get one free pints....good stuff :)
