Liked: I had a very nice room. I paid for an ensuite bedroom. There was a nice balcony overlooking the river. Very neat and tidy and good value for money. I paid, I thiink, 160 RMB. As a note of criticism though,there were only 2 computers there. I tried to use one of them to access my msn messenger and it didn't work, although the guy using the other computer could use msn messenger no problem. The internet was also very slow. I was also told that there were no internet bars in the area which surprised me because there is a shopping street just around the corner with lots of young people doing business and out shopping.. Still, on balance, if you're not a computer buff, with no laptop computer to your name, then, I guess it was a nice hostel, all-in-all.

Liked: the location is great, staff helpful, but they don't speak English very well, the night portier not at all, so be prepared if you arrive between 12 pm and 7 am.....

Liked: the room is clean and big with very good bathroom, but only one things: the room was very cold and there not warm machine

Liked: Great location by the Pearl River and metro station. The rooms were cleaned daily and most were ensuite.A large hostel so a tad impersonal but overall great value for the money.

Liked: It was clean and in a convenient location, very easy to find and gave good directions to and from it. However it was very cold, there was no way to heat up the room.

Liked: Very good atmosphere! Friendly staff - speaking english!!! Rather good location for business - 0,5km to metro station (Fangcun) and very good location for fun (just by the river, many night clubs, restaurants). And very unusuall saturday's night with "restaurants" and barbecue on the street. I've never seen it in China before. Very nice area with many small chinese shops, 2 banks with cash machines. Hotel not so luxury equiped (rather for young people), but it is very very nice. You can even rent a bike there!
