Many travellers consider Mt.Emei the most pleasant and popular of the Buddhist Mountain in China, and none of the other hotels in Mt. Emei meet the needs of travelers better than The Teddy Bear Hotel. The Teddy Bear Hotel and its affiliated cafe are recommended by the Lonely Planet Guidebook, the Rough Guide and Let's Go. The hotel and cafe are located next to the Baoguo Temple Bus Station and only half a kilometer away from the Mt. Emei trail head.

The Teddy bear Hotel and its café are clean and inexpensive and have been chosen as the favorite place to stay and eat by backpackers from many countries.There are over 20 rooms,all of which meet international standards,including single rooms and double rooms with private or public bathrooms. Accommodations are clean and quiet, with air-conditioning, 24-hour hot water and satellite TV,and all are at reasonable rates. At Teddy Bear Café, you can eat great western food such as pancakes, burgers, sandwiches,Chinese food and some local specialties.

Andy founded the Teddy Bear Hotel in 1997, expanding his original venture The Teddy Bear Cafe which he opened in 1993. Andy is an experienced chef and studied English in his spare time. Andy is extremely helpful and is a great source of local information. The Teddy Bear Hotel offers a personal touch thanks to Andy and his family.

Shirley(Andy's wife) is a great host with a big heart, giving the Teddy Bear Hotel a home away form home feel. Making the Teddy Bear Hotel and unforgettable stay whilst in China.
